MarineMan he is updating history. Adding a new chapter to a once difficult life for enslaved people. What a beautiful new song, new life and renewed strength sent his way, our way by our Ancestors..I can see their smiles, feel their gratitude in Spirit... Power to our people. Ase 😃

@@specialk4455, um no. Wrong again. you can't "update history".. History is 1) The study of PAST events. or 2) The whole series of PAST events connected with someone or something. You can't update the past unless you have a magic time machine and can go back in time. He is blazing a new path, he is breaking away from history....etc.

@MarineMan I understand you, however we are taking about HISTORY, "his story". Just as a person updates a resume, they can update their story. Thus becoming HISTORY! The irony of the English language 😉

😂 check again, he made the industry bigger and more execrable to black filmmakers, workers, actors etc. and if you have to lose some deadweight to help more people who are willing to do the work than go for it, he is where he is because he had a vision and wanted to help more people like him gain success, ps: he employees actors of color more frequently and gives them more money than Hollywood would, aka the same as everyone else regardless of who you are. Informed comments would be more uplifting than jealousy driven ones. He honored those who came before and he made history that is more than anyone here can say.
