@aliciatorrezq7428 Blake Lively, although an extraordinary actress, is a classic Narcissist. She has the "Me, me ~ it's all about me" factor which results in repulsive behavior toward others in interviews and reportedly on set. She herself has admitted that she cannot "act" without "producing" which implies she "directs" other cast members during filming which is not her job. This has been said to cause both resentment and tension on sets. A Narc is "all about me" 24/7 and I "marvel" at how Ryan Reynolds handles this condition in their private and personal lives. Highly talented and a creative genius, he may also have narcissistic traits as well and I would think an accurate movie about THEM would be a hit. Unfortunately, the narcissism in her is sabotaging her own celebrity likability and she is currently tanking. Others, being interviewed with her have a hard time "getting a word in edgewise" and she even uses her choice of clothing to appear "bigger than others". What a shame to see such phenomenal talent being blackened with one's own need to showcase " Me, me, me. The "mean girl" is no longer cute but now bullying and downright annoying. This huge talent is definitely not America's Sweetheart.

Then to have the actor who plays Atlas just mumble repeat things that the director said in PREVIOUS interviews was also bizarre. Did they tell Gayle not to say the words Domestic Violence? People, especially actors, are afraid of Ryan because he has the power to destroy careers so they are afraid of her as his wife. That actor looks terrified. Even Gayle looks perplexed by what she is observing. Blake deserves real credit as a producer & the director has acknowledged that in interviews, but she was not the writer or director. Highly recommend looking into Justin Baldoni, the actor who played Ryle. Beyond being an amazing person and long-time activist for other things, he seems to be the only one who's stayed true to the theme of this story and promoted awareness of domestic violence. Disappointed that others are not doing the same and are instead treating this like a RomCom. It's not at all aligned to the theme of this story, and it feels really dismissive to domestic violence victims and the issues around DV. Knowing Baldoni, his history, and the way he seems to be handling this "tension" or disagreement (whatever it was), it's very clear he is the only one staying true to what this movie should be centered on and also fully educating himself on it, especially with his collaboration and advocacy for non-profits (No More) involved with domestic violence.

I don't think it's fair to judge someone and hold them to the same level of understanding over a particular struggle to someone who has been through what they haven't. Obviously, Blake has never experienced DV first or second hand. You can tell she is just doing her best to relate to the character as best she can but it's clear she doesn't understand the gravity of her character in the real life world. It's like asking someone to know what it it's like to have a disability or disease they never had and them having to pretend they get it because they're supposed to. Director should have picked someone else who understands so they could have a more raw delivery AND interviews.

KZbinrs and TikTokers all say Blake makes the movie sound like a RomCom and talks about everything except the real topic in the movie: Domestic Violence. Thin interview confirms that.

It is clear that Blake Lively's performance lacked commitment and dedication to the cause of the movie. Her sarcastic and snarky responses, along with her out-of-touch behavior, demonstrate a lack of professionalism. Her focus on unrelated topics instead of using her platform to raise awareness about important issues such as domestic violence is disappointing. Lively should have used her influence to provide resources and support for victims. It's important for someone with such a big voice to do better and be more responsible with their platform.

They should have offered the role to minka kelly. She already has proven she can play deep roles from a you g age, and just read her book. Wow. I cried.

I pray that rude Blake Lively doesn’t ruin football games this season. What a mean, classless person she and the other unknown, Parker, were to this seemingly very nice reporter.

Blake Deadly clearly doesn’t care about the primary focus of the book/movie. She only cares about the aesthetics of the movie, the music choices, and ostensibly herself. Lawd I love her co-star’s subtle reactions to her incessant and narcissistic drivel🤣 The not so subtle reactions in other interviews are HILARIOUS! Way to go Dead Lily and Bloom Pool!

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I've never cared for Blake Lively. She is beautiful and funny, but imo, phoney. I don't buy the "girl next door" routine and she seems disingenuous to me. She and Ryan have a home in Park City, UT (I live in Salt Lake City) and my son is a bar tender for an establishment they often visit. Let's just say the experiences he's had with her do not align with her celebrity persona. In addition, my friend that drives for Uber has met many celebs over the years, especially during the annual Sundance Film Festival, and he said she's one of the rudest celebs (and a poor tipper) he's encountered. Maybe she's due some humble pie, Jlo and Ellen Degenerous style? 🤷

That was very pleasant for all of them. It was a great interview. Interviews can be awkward. Stars are people at the end of the day. We all have bad days. Whatever. Blake seems lovely to me.
