Evn with so many women raising alarm about the books impact on impressionable mind ever since. It seems he is now trying to do damage control ,but lucky for him blake and ryan are making it easy for him.

We already know why people choose violence. It makes the powerless and insecure feel more powerful temporarily. It’s momentary control and dominance. It’s largely a self esteem or security issue. Men and women must be more accountable for the esteem of children they raise. Low esteem people will not raise high esteem kids. It’s everyone’s job to work on building collective self-esteem and security. It is a skillset.

I also think what I would want to see people who say “why did she stay” take away from the movie is how confusing the whole thing can be. And how quickly things can turn from kicking a chair or punching a wall to backhanding you across the face for misplaced anger. It really was an insightful movie. I feel bad that Blake and Ryan’s PR seems to be taking it a whole different direction. Justin’s take on it is so impactful even though I didn’t grow up or ever experience DV

I'm unfamiliar with this actor, but now think he seems like a genuinely cool guy. It's obvious there's some beef bt he and Blake. I think it's bc she ended up overstepping in her role as producer and hijacked his project. Of course as producer she has creative input, but it's another thing to take over, along with your super star husband. Too bad CBS didn't have the nerve to ask about the alleged feud.

Love Justin Baldoni. Even with all of the trouble between Blake and some of the cast members against Justin. There are always two sides to a story. Also, there’s crowd or clique mentality where it’s easy to talk among yourselves and come up with reasons to dislike someone. Also, with Justin, I truly believe that he lives and breathes his character that he plays. Getting out of character with someone like Ryle is very difficult. I believe Justin‘s good qualities outweigh his not so good qualities. I wish everyone would just apologize to each other, shake hands, and walk away. Peace and Love.♥️

@@llhannah9297 You could be right. Blake is in charge of the marketing and it looks like a romantic comedy. She's talking about pretty flowers, pink clothes and baking. Justin is speaking about domestic violence and how men need to be better. They are talking about completly different films! I wonder why the cast and crew are siding with Blake, if she took over.

@@10elica That is strange. Colleen said in interviews that lots of people asked to turn the book into a film. (Based on the success of her books, I'd say that's an understatement!)> She liked Justin because he wrote a beautiful letter. Colleen felt that Justin got it more than anyone else. Equally, Justin has a long history in this topic. He's spoken at length about masculinity. These seems to be a passion project based on his life-long interests. His interviews reinforce it. He speaks beautifully about domestic violence and holding men accountable. By contrast, Blake is promoting a fluffy pink rom-com. If anything, you'd think Colleen would support Justin.

I honestly think Blake should never have played the Lily Boom character. She seems so tone-deaf and stuck in her Serena vibe that she can’t even grasp this role properly. It’s like she only took the part to promote her business without understanding the character at all. There are so many other actresses who could’ve done a better job! It’s such a shame how nepotism ruins opportunities for more deserving talent.
