@@KeilyShhh lol none of that has been proven by science. Just because a person has a feeling doesn’t make it correct. If we were to go by your standard and murdering people would be acceptable because we feel it or pedophilia would be acceptable because we feel it, you can’t have it both ways. science actually proves the opposite with a natural ways of sex. There’s more disease and there’s no way you could ever sell me on mutilation of a body again you need to learn the difference between feelings and facts. Feeling doesn’t mean it’s natural because feelings can be wrong when used in the wrong context.

There were plenty of gay NFL players before Sam and Hassib. They just didn't come out until their careers ended. In fact, one of them saw his new Jets career end after four snaps in Week One. As for Sam, he wasn't a real player; he was a publicity stunt cooked up by Herr Goodell and ESPN. They forced the Rams to draft him.

I mean, before this guy you hadn’t heard any players say they’re gay either. And now he’s retired, none are out in the open. Let’s not pretend people aren’t concerned with the sexuality of others, it was only a few years ago that it was literally illegal to get married to someone the same sex in the US. There are a number of comments right here telling the guy to “get help” or “go and play in the woman’s league now”. If him coming out is really not bothering for you, why comment?

Because straight pride is celebrated every day. It's shouted from the roof tops in 99% of movies/tv shows/plays... it's loud and proud in churches, the RNC and conservative media. @@KeilyShhh LOL. There is so much to straight relationships than sex too. Humanity would cease to exist if everyone became a homosexual. Sorry but that is true. It's called reality. There is nothing wrong with being a homosexual but it doesn't need to be announced for everyone to know what you like to do between the sheets. And there is no celebration of straight pride every day as you imply. Straight people are not allowed to have a parades to celebrate their heterosexuality. Gay pride parades and events are more common. And if you say 99% of movies, tvs, etc show heterosexual relationships that is because it's how all of us got here. So there's that.

@@elizabethb4332 A) Oh my gosh! Frist of all, I'm asexual so none of my romantic feelings have to do with sex. And even if they did, that doesn't mean there would be nothing more to my relationships! B) And straight people are allowed to have parades... they just don't because it's not necessary! And even if straight people weren't welcome at pride events (which they certainly are), straight pride is celebrated in nearly every institution... institutions that so often cast out the LGBTQ+ community. Stop whining... Pride is just about equality. C) You say that there's nothing wrong with homosexuality and yet in the same breath, you imply that we want all of humanity to end... for the entire human race to disappear! Honey, educate yourself and then we can talk.

You don't seem to get it. He didn't come out for all of us. He came out for himself. It takes energy and conscious effort to constantly hide who you are. Once you come out, you don't have to think about it anymore. You don't have to expend that energy. It can help give you peace of mind. And if it means some people cut you out of their lives, so be it. At least you're honest with yourself and you still have the support of those who stuck around after. It was so much less miserable for me after I came out. I don't ever want to go back to the way I lived before. That's why we do it.
