Tim Cook was the best decision Steve ever made for Apple from the hiring to promotion to CEO. Despite early criticism which was inevitable, trying to follow in Steve shoes, he has led brilliantly. Steve himself could’ve never done what Tim has done to build a company.

Fusion reactors are still in beta development, and very few are being used commercially. Today’s phones last much longer than previous generations. Think back with the iPhone 4, 5, 6 and 7 as soon as they became 2 years old they were slow and unable to keep up. Nowadays many people still running just fine on their iPhone 11’s and 12’s. Same goes with the Macs, all the current Apple Silicon models will last many years longer than then intel based Macs. I could go on and on. Now if you add the fact that all new products are being designed with the ultimate goal of carbon neutrality, it gets even better.

Apple should offer a better buy back option for their iPhone and iPad and even iMac devices. So say you got a new iPad Pro and the deal was in 2.5 years you traded it back in for the new one. Also kits like you got the iPad Pro the mini speakers and the new 24 Apple monitor in the one. Or Apple did a deal with Sony and you got a Sony blue tooth turntable 4 speaks and Apple TV replace the speaker and Apple TV later on same kind of thing. They could recycle ♻️ them

The challenge here is that Apple needs to be able to benefit from the recycling itself, which really comes down to how the original product is manufactured as well as overall how the materials for said products is recyclable. Even in 2023 the way most tech products are created means that only a certain amount of said product is able to be recycled.

Total rubbish. Apple is money driven period. It certainly stopped improving my life when one of their products stopped working, and it was something that would be easy to fix myself but Apple have made it practically impossible now without making a long round trip to get it to a apple store, or by making everything proprietary and costing far more. Previous to this you either could fix itself yourself or have an applecentre nearby, Apple is all about control. Nothing carbon neutral about spending the best part of a day travelling to get the same thing done now, because they solder, glue everything and sometimes need special equipment. Would never buy another apple product. For so much of the johnny ive period they lost focus and broke the golden rule of design. Form follows function. Everything became too thin and easily breakable, as well as having more and more taken out, then selling you everything as extras. The only use for this company is in the value of their share price. Awful company.

It is totally laughable.

Bill Gates achieved dominance with Microsoft by attempting to sell to every customer. Apple doesn’t do this. Apple doesn’t make a reasonably-priced display, nor does it make servers, wireless access points, or printers any longer. Apple could own firewalls, network attached storage, servers, wireless, and backups if it wanted, but Apple doesn’t want to appeal to every customer, which is incredibly shortsighted. Once you get a customer into the Apple ecosystem, you can pick that customer’s pocket forever with Apple’s mediocre services. Tim is still thinking of Apple as a hardware company, when Apple should be using the hardware to addict customers to Apple’s highly-profitable services.
