Selena has been to hell and back, and still struggles with chronic illness. Yet, she has triumphed over those challenges with dignity and grace. She demonstrates authenticity and compassion for others and their experiences while sharing her own journey in this difficult world we live in. Her talent and ability to take on new things in her career is inspiring and her concern for the youth in our society is commendable.

She’s so right about money and materialistic things. Once your needs are met, money and stuff above that don’t matter. I grew up dirt poor always dreaming of more: a nice house, nice neighborhood, beautiful kitchen, clothes, shoes, blah blah blah. When I started making six figures and my needs were met, I was soooo stress free, but NOT any happier because I got the house, the kitchen, etc etc and then realized that none of it mattered. What made me happy before I had money still made me happy with money: ie family, friends, pets, walks, laughter, movies, books, singing to my hearts content, travel. I realized that I wasn’t unhappy before, I was just so stressed about my not being able to pay my bills, etc, but I had happiness. I totally get what Selena is saying, I have lived this. Sidebar: I know people will say you need money to travel, yes this is true. You definitely need enough money to meet your basic needs and little extra. My favorite trip was a cross country trip in an old car with my daughter. We ate out of cooler and camped the whole time. I have been on luxury cruises and they were nowhere near as fun as that cheap car trip… that’s kind of my point.

People dont realize how much work goes into celeb interviews. Its not just luke they sit down and answer questions. Everything is pre planned in a pre interview. Questions are selected. Agents managers come to agreements . Once its conducted it has to get approval and be edited before its aired. Usually interviews are designed to make a celeb look a certain way or to promote their work etcetc . Just keep that all in mind

She has lupus. I know a lot of people often use her lupus diagnosis as reasoning for how she acts and appears. And to be quite frank it makes completely sense as someone who has a sister with lupus, the way she speaks could be a factor in the way she acts and looks. I’ve seen my sister go through so much pain because of it and even to this day with the medication she’s on it still affects her so hard. Lupus is a chronic illness that affects people in an array of symptoms, it’s not researched nor understood well, which requires a multitude of medication. The way she is now could be because of lupus and the medication she is on. Lupus causes inflammation, chronic pain, and low energy. So please take this into consideration. I mean hello it’s not that hard to look up the facts and verifying those facts as well.
