I still remember when that cocky breon got interviewed by rxmuscle iirc, he said vacuum pose(classic pose) is not important almost like he meant "trash pose" that guy think classic is just another open division, and belittle cbum a lot, but boy our cbum push thru with classic quality with the moustache on top, after cbum won his 1st then even that cocky breon start doing vaccum pose, that breon forgot that this is classic, at the start judges is still trying to find who will be the trend setter for classic division and then they found cbum, with size, conditioning but plus flow and aesthetic like the old days the classic days then BOOM cbum become the trend setter, the classic icon, and im so satisfied that finally we got the quality that classic division is all about and not some another 212 and open, tq cbum, you are icon and will be the legend of classic champ, UNDEFEATED
@dj_m192 ай бұрын
@@redzuanmuhamad7858 first of all, he lost 2 times in a row. Barely won his 1st title by a single point. Not undefeated Next, when Breon said that, vacuum "pose" wasn't emphasized on as much as it is nowadays. You're clearly forgetting the fact that Breon was an acting champion who won 2 in a row and beat Bumstead both times to win those titles. The division has only existed since 2016, it's super young. IFBB is not as stupid as people may think, they saw a golden opportunity at milking Cbum and the cult following that was forming around him, they practically molded the standard of the classic physique and the physique to have in order to win...after Bumstead himself. Breon, a 2 time champion who almost won 3 in a row (1 point loss in 2019) now suddenly started dropping in placings despite looking practically the same.
@redzuanmuhamad78582 ай бұрын
@@dj_m19 oh what i mean is, cbum ended his winning streak undefeated, and next, thats my point, during breon era as champion the classic still looking for the classic quality, the one that represent classic the most but with size and conditioning of course, cbum at earlier career only have the flow,lines and the "aesthetic" but not those 2 important value, which is why we all agreed he deserved those 2 wins, breon is the most condition and have the muscle mass and the flow at that time and only after cbum reaches the point to carries all of the quality that the judges give him the win and later when he reaches his peak hes already undefeated champ at that point (not including his 1st win of course, that time cbum did just enough), and the last one like i said, breon really condemn the pose of the classic era so much, and not just in one video/update and belittle cbum during that time, even luimarco said it, everybody saw it, i mean, mentality of a champ of course but you dont have to be the next phil heath, which is why we all can see, cbum isnt like that, champ with class, such classic!

The most impressive thing about mikes placement and something probably many of the International fans dont know is, that he has some sort of Disease ( maybe kidney, maybe liver or the likes) that HEAVILY restricts his Gear usage and has cost him a few competitions he couldnt attend due to illness and made it much harder for him to get completely shredded. I know, bodybuilders love to say this but mike is one of the realest people ive ever seen in this space. This offseason he was completely off a considerable amount of time as far as i know. He displayed that in mutliple podcasts and videos in which he showed his complete Bloodwork, many times from the day before or even THE DAY OF the Podcast. His Illness is also the reason for his VERY frequent bloodwork. He explains this and his history in a pretty long german podcast, even explaining how just a little bit of gear in certain situaions could massively increase his (kidney, liver, idk anymore?) markers, make him hold an imense amount of water and sometimes even get more ill (fever etc.) As a german I am EXTREMELY proud to 1. have 2 Germans in the classic top 3 and 2. for mike to FINALLY get the real recognition he has always deserved. (He unfortunately is party disliked in the German community for his unwilligness to be fake, promote things he doesnt support, not being all buddy buddy with a big german sponsor and media company because the fricked him over once and weirdly enough, for his desire for a "german bodybuilding Team". He has called multiple times for all german athletes to hold together, participate "together" support eachother and support Germany in bodybuilding as a whole, not as enemies but as German representatives.) Mike is the future of Classic Physique and will be the first German Mr Olympia ever.
