I bought myself a Maverick Infinite for my 70th birthday back in 2021, it took 8 months to arrive at that time, since then the company has had a large investor I believe and everything from delivery dates to communication has improved dramatically. The engine cutting out was sorted at the service and its now running better than ever, its a unit designed when BMW owned Husky and as you found its great fun to ride. Servicing is on fairly short intervals on 3500 miles or once a year as all other bikes and there is now a dealer network, mine being Krazy Horse in Suffolk. Nothing bad to say about the bike just makes me smile including my gold forks "Old man"

I can't believe the back lash your getting for this ccm . You reviewed that RE gorilla thing and everybody was over joyed and to me it looked like a wet blanket . What was it pretending to be . Ccm s sound like a motorcycle use to sound and they look different you can tell a ccm a mile away and the handle like a hooligan bike should . Not everyone's cup of tea but still a good looking bike . You can talk about dealer back up all day but the only bike manufacturer that can offer true dealer back up is BMW and as we no that comes at a huge price . No keep reviewing these different bikes in your unique way and if people complain about the noise they make then tell them to get a vespa as there in the wrong game . Well done guys 😊

I always enjoy videos of bikes we can't get in Canada, and then wish we did! In Canada CCM is a brand synonymous with Ice hockey skates and equipment, and also cheap bicycles sold by a big automotive/household goods chain called Canadian Tire. So I was a bit confused to see there is such a thing as CCM motorcycles, but quickly realized they are completely unrelated. These bikes are really rolling art pieces and can't really be compared to anything else. Would love to have one as a second bike, but only if I could convince my wife to park it in the living room as an art piece for me to gawk at when not being ridden.

There appears to be some grumbling from CCM customers with respect to major price hikes and them having bought bikes advertised as "limited edition" only for CCM to subsequently produce the same bikes with a new name! Specifically a guy who bought a Spitfire Six which he said has since been renamed as the Spitfire Roadster, if I recall correctly. As for the bike's "lovely engine" you didn't mention the 3500 mile service interval as stated on the CCM website.

Whatever the explanation, I can understand why that guy felt aggrieved or even conned.

@@captainpugwash788 what I will say is that I had a full CCM spitfire billet front end spare. Top yoke, bottom yoke and all the brackets for the headlights etc. I took it to my local CNC place to get them to scan the setup so customisable parts could be made. He took one look at the setup and said that he could never machine and sell that setup for anything less than a fortune. He said only China could knock that stuff out for a profit. So yes the parts are pretty nice as a whole. Except for basic rear shocks and other bits and plastic fuel tanks (if you don’t upgrade). But the issue isn’t really with the parts. The bike is effectively a custom bike. You take the seat off (with some awkward bolts) there is only a plastic tray keeping all the electrics in place and that’s it. Not even water shielded fully. Compared to a Bonneville which would have a better seat, latching system several layers of R&D Developed plastic compartments for battery, filter etc etc. you can see where the money goes. I just can’t see how they can sell them for the price they do. I’ve also had a tour of the factory and it’s just an assembly plant for parts shipped in from China etc. I was super disappointed considering it’s a UK brand. But only in name. The rest is imported. Usual story I guess

Yes and No. You live in a very rural area. Horses and dogs around. They have every right to be there too. It’s not cool to be anti social just for the sake of it. I suspect people loved the look of the bike parked, but if you drove it through their village blipping the throttle they would be of the opinion you are a bit of a d1ck. For sanity, I just checked with my wife and she gave it a resounding thumbs down. She likes my Harley Road King though.

Such a shame CCM concentrate on producing numerous versions of the same machine rather than try to introduce reliability and customer support . Junk rolled in glitter .

Ah, a spirited & nimble cow-pony, merrily snorting out rather addictive amounts of rude poke! : )

You get a bike in that style then complain about the styling.

Who did? We love the styling. Not the tiny mudguard or the digital display. You weren't listening!
