I appreciate the slower BPM. I am just getting back into step after 25 years and am retraining my brain/body. When I was originally doing step in my 20's and 30's, I preferred a slower pave because I'm taller and I just don't move as fast as smaller people. I may try to pick it up some but love a slower beat. Thank you for being such a great instructor!

Hi Chris! I recently discovered your channel and rediscovered the joys of step. You're awesome! I second many of the requests below asking for slower intermediate-advanced and advanced workouts. I also wanted to mention that the speed of any video can be slowed down to 0.9x or 0.95x if using a web browser on a computer by going to the video settings (KZbin app allows you to slow down only at 0.25x increments, so that one is not super helpful. Unless you want it extra slow 😁). I found this helpful with the existing fast paced workouts that I really like.

Thank you for this! This video will be my first class tomorrow when the delivery of the Strong Southern Girl step arrives thanks to the coupon code! I'm going to set the coffee table up on it's side out of the way, I've got KZbin setup and logged in on my living room TV's Roku, and I just hope my 2000 vintage velvet plush carpet works out OK, because I read somewhere else online that it doesn't have the same "give" as wood floors and that carpet's not good for step workouts. I have berber in the basement but poor lighting and some lower ceiling parts. Wish me luck! (And I told my daughters that cell phone footage of Dad will not be tolerated.)

Loved the pace and the interesting moves. Just wished complex steps like "over the top" were repeated say four times (for a beginner routine), because once you miss the first one, you miss the whole move.
