So glad I found this KZbin channel! I started doing step aerobics in 1995 and it was one of my favorite types of exercise for almost 20 years. Most gyms aren’t offering step classes now, and I’ve had a hard time finding another form of exercise that I enjoy for the past several years. I recently found these workouts, bought a step, and now I’m on my way to get back in shape! I love the music too…really enjoying these classes very much. Thank you! 😊

I am exactly the same. I was trying to thing of the few times I enjoyed working out, and step in the 90s was on top of my list. I bought as step and found these classes and Christina is perfect!! I also love working out at home, easy to add it into my day.

‘JUST SMILE’…my favorite part of this workout! First- was the music really from the 90’s and 2000’s 😳🤣. I love intermediate to advance step but steppers who don’t do this because it’s slower are missing out on getting deep in the moves and fancying it up!! Thanks Chris!! I love step! ❤😊

This was so much more than just a fun step class great choreography. We know that step is a great way to practice mindfulness and train your brain, its also an effective way to address perfectionism. People with perfectionistic tendencies feel uncomfortable when they can’t complete a task at the level they think they should. Allowing yourself the grace to make mistakes and being okay with it builds our tolerance for uncomfortable situations. How many times in life do we skip something that might make us uncomfortable and regret it later??? For myself it’s probably more times than I’d like to acknowledge. I’m seriously beginning to think that step holds the answer to all life’s problems 🤔🤣. Thanks for being real and showing us that we don’t need to be perfect, it’s more important to just show up! 😻

Pulled a muscle in my lower back last Friday so been doing mobility/stretching and walking. First day back to step and this was great fun (01.02.2024). Feeling much better and can touch my toes again. Thank you Chris

Have done this twice this week and love it. A couple of months ago my knees bothered me during step if the tempo was too fast or choreo too challenging. I have been diligently doing your workouts every day and my legs are stronger (thanks leg days) and I’m able to keep up and without pain during step workouts. Thank you so much! Hey christina, I think I found my go to class. This one was awesome I was able to do all the steps and keep up. I will look for 132 BPM . IT NEVER FAILS TO AMAZE ME... You're able to call out: start with the left -- when you're actually doing the right foot. You're MY favorite.

This was the absolute perfect workout for me right now. Fast enough and long enough to get my heart rate in the zone, and simple enough choreo that I could do it all without substitution. I don’t mind substituting, but sometimes it slows me down a bit. Anyway, this was spectacular for me today. So grateful to have found your channel.

Tried to concentrate on being "lighter" on my feet in this fun, easy to follow workout. It was also good brain work before leaving for work this morning. And for any new steppers...please give the "Learn Step Aerobics" tutorials on Chris' channel a try. For me they were well worth my time repeating.

This was just what I needed tonight - super challenging, sweaty, and so much fun (great music!!). I almost gave up midway through but something told me to take the riser off of my step and KEEP GOING. I’m so glad I did. I’m very hard on myself so for me not using the riser makes me feel like I failed. Im trying to break myself out of that negative thinking 😊.

Thank you Chris for another great step class. i found your channel just over a year ago. i was over weight, my body ached and I was depressed with how i felt and looked. I started slow and there were times when I felt frustrated and discouraged but I didn't give up. Now I'm doing intermediate/advance step and alternating strength classes 6 days a week. Today, I tried, for the first time, to use risers with this class AND I did it!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your motivation, words of encouragement and for making it fun.

I LOVE your workouts and especially your step workouts! I have done step aerobics since before Rebok made a step. Our group enlisted the help of a local carpenter to build our steps out of wood, which was a workout just getting them to the gym!! I started back with your videos at the start of 2024, attempting to get my mojo back after having both knees replaced in 2022. (Knee issues had nothing to do with doing step all those years.) Thank you for such clear directions and attention to strengthening the whole body. Glad I found you to go with me through by journey back to a regular exercise program.

Christina can’t thank you enough as I have been doing your basic step videos almost every day and see a big difference in how I feel energy wise. I tried steps decades ago and never was comfortable as everyone in the group class was so much better than me and it was intimidating:) but doing from home following your videos are so much fun and I am really enjoying them. Also it helps when you have multiple basic videos and for different time spans. It gives me a variety to pick from and also helps me even if I have only 15 mins of time in a day to work out. Really appreciate you helping us all with your easy to follow and fun videos. 🙏🙏

Great basic step (but not boring) with a little bit of “speed” to it! Heart rate was at 162 for most of it. I did need to take some active rest breaks(walking around house) in btwn segments but I generally have been doing around the 127/128 step classes so this was a good step up (pun intended) lol! Finishing with a mobility because as Chris says it’s important!
