I will never understand how one can complain and also have the time to write it. If you are writing, you are not really working hard! Just follow the music and you improvise until the problem is resolved. Anyway, I will never complain because Chris is simply the kindest, most generous, funniest and I can go on for hours! My goodness. I did this one in the after party and not live, so I couldn’t see the comments being referenced, but I was indignant on your behalf! How many times did we all have Zoom issues or Internet problems during the pandemic, and we had to punt? You’re speaking the NEXT move while doing the present one, and you fixed a mic issue in 30 seconds! While still stepping! Amazing. Seriously, you are so good at what you do, and I’m so happy to be back at it after a long hiatus. This was super fun, and I enjoyed all three workouts today. Thank you!

Such an awesome class in every way..familiar moves choreographed in fun segments, great music and even a blooper. Sorry about the complainers. Clearly they forget that you're providing FREE, daily, professional, LIVE training and there are bound to be glitches. Your regular fitness fam rolls with the glitches; anyone bothered by them should move on. You are appreciated more than you know, Chris.

Did this one today for the first time - long time later after party. I loved the voiceover in the middle. It just made me smile so big because of course that’s what you would do to fix something for us! You work so hard to deliver a quality product. For all the viewers complaining in the middle - screw ‘em. If they have time to actually type out complaints then they definitely aren’t exercising. They don’t deserve your time or attention. You don’t owe explanations and you don’t have to defend yourself. Love you, Chris! Great workout! And I was highly envious of your shoes in this one. Love the colors.

Sheesh, the nerve of some people... Maybe if they got off their keyboards and focused on their workout, they'd have an easier time keeping up with the rest of us the second the most minor of glitches happen! Chris, I hope you know that for everyone who felt the urge to make a snide comment, there were dozens more of us who kept going with no issues and didn't feel like there was anything to complain about! I used to work shift hours in a house with several others and I'd do my step with the sound off completely so I wouldn't disturb anyone. And I took my husband to his first ever step class on Monday and there was no mic at all, and he followed along just fine. Thank you for all you do, Chris!!! I step with you several times a week and you're legit my favorite step instructor ever (and this is coming from someone who has been doing step for years and years). Super fun choreo on this one, and I loved the no break down!

Chris' workout are just amazing! Dare I say that I like it when there are a few problems on a live? Yes, because it makes her more close to us - we almost forget there is a screen between us. We can also see all the work she puts into it! She is real !

I must admit I’m strictly a ‘fast basic’ stepper, but as it’s 80s music I couldn’t resist this workout - loved it😊Really enjoyed the change of having no breakdown of moves and just getting straight into it. I loved, loved, LOVED this workout - rewound to the full routine @135 bpm several times. So much fun. This format with no breakdown is fantastic and I appreciate you taking the time to create a second one. And for those who kept complaining about the mic issue - FFS, people - chill! I've seen it happen in live classes too. Why would you complain about something that took less than 30 seconds to fix and didn't detract from the workout at all? It's just plain rude and disrespectful to a dedicated instructor who makes these classes available for FREE... Give your heads a shake.

I did this in the after-party, and I'm always amazed that people complain about a technical issue and have the time to be complaining when they should be working out and not leaving comments during the routine... just plain rudeness. Love all your workouts and appreciate the time and effort you put into them 😊

Can't do live classes today as I need to head to the airport early so decided to do this step one from noon yesterday. (I've gotten spoiled doing lives lately after a few years of mostly recorded with a few lucky live days her and there) The mic thing was no big deal at all!!!!! I thought it was going to be 30 seconds of dead air but it just glitched a bit. Some people just like to complain. I've said it before, but for the number of live classes you do, it's amazing there aren't more issues. Tech stuff happens! It's amazing the time, effort and energy that you put into these and each and every one of us should be thankful!

Love love love no breakdown! While I should be able to call the moves, I tend to rely on you. With your prompting, I tried to do the cuing for myself on this one. Let's just say that it is a 'work in progress" lol. Thanks Chris for all you do. Loved that over-the-bench straddle to rocking horse, that's a fun way to get to that move! I love this format when I have a busy day ahead. Like today, I finished this at 7:47am (WAY early for me, I rarely exercise before 9am). Did it on risers and I'm dripping!! Hey there Chris! Writing from Mexico. Been following your classes for the past 4 months and oh my god, I've never been happier while exercising! I'm actually what you call a vampire, I've never commented or done a live class but I'm always here for the after party, and of course I hit the like button and share with friends on every class I take! Maybe one of these days I'll be able to join in on a live. Just wanted to thank you for making me discover and looooove step. I remember my mom was obsessed with it in the 90s (I was a little kid back then but remember her enjoying it so much) and then she had to stop because there were no more trainers that wanted to teach step classes anymore where we live! What a shame! Fortunately, I came across your channel by pure chance and it has been amazing. You have such a kind and cheerful vibe, you convey so much positive energy! Can't imagine why anyone would complain about ANYTHING on this channel. Sorry if I made any typing mistakes, not my first language haha. Thank you for everything you do, honestly, for people like me that live in a small town where there's no much choice when it comes to training, this has been a blessing. You are the best!

I love the breakdown, especially on days where I feel a little bit anxious or stressed. It keeps me too busy to think about the things that are bothering me and it allows me some meditative movement and I always feel better afterward

I am mostly a beginning stepper, but I figured out more of the moves in the workout! Fun and progress! I went back to do the full routine an extra time. At the slow tempo it starts at 16:22. At the fast tempo it's at 20:59. Thanks, Chris!

Did this one with a weighted vest and it was such a great workout in a short time frame! Loved the no breakdown and choreography. I don’t understand how people can be so opinionated about something that is out of your control like a little bit of a mic issue. Stuff happens and you just gotta move forward! I have never commented before, but I’ve been working out with you since spring of last year. I teach in WA state and found a coworker to try step with me after remembering how much I loved it in the 90’s. You have changed my life, I look forward to working out on my cardio days now!!! Please know you are extremely appreciated and regardless of the fact that today was an “off” day, it was an amazing workout, no shame in that game. I joined this class live as the stars aligned with time off work and no other commitments. Such a great fun class and easy to slot into a busy day, so might return to this one. I loved the comment from Chris about working the brain and the body, isn’t it funny how sometimes you just go along with what someone says without challenging your brain to think for itself 🧐. Hi Chris, I can't believe that less than 6 months ago I found you, had never done a single step workout in my life, and that first class I took with you....what a hot mess I was!! So discouraged at times and there you were, assuring it was alright. Your encouragement kept me going and here I am, doing an Intermediate class and able to keep right up with you and seriously feeling so much stronger! I just have to share that my dr has lowered my blood pressure meds and hoping to get off them altogether soon!! Thank you for all you do! Oh! And I love your little bloopers, I laugh them off as you keep it real. Look forward to tomorrow and finding another workout.

I love a shorter workout once in awhile! I feel more accomplished that way. LOL. Thanks for being great at this. These workouts are so fun even my husband has started stepping with me.

Girl!!! ❤❤❤ I’m in awe of your professional and ability to just smooth it over and keep moving on. When you’re live there are an infinite number of things that are beyond your control!! All that being said your voiceover was freaking amazing bc I was just stepping along and didn’t realize anything until after you came back live 😂😂😂 we are SO lucky for all that you do. This was a fantastic quick workout, just what I was looking for tonight in place of my evening walk as it’s sticky hot gross humid 🥵 here😅 thank you for reminding all of us to be humble and kind, I’m so grateful for you!!❤❤❤

Chris step was so awesome amazing I really loved it so much it was so fun as it was 80's I loved working hard sweating hard and having fun stepping .I loved singing along whilst stepping .I kept moving .and I also kept up with the moves and choreography.youre the best ever at step Chris.you make it so much fun .and you have awesome music I really loved learning new moves today.i really done my best today.thank you so much for today's workouts Chris.youre the best ever .and amazing..from daniel

I missed a whole bunch of workouts in the last couple of weeks. So happy I came back for this one. I'm adding this to my favorites Playlist mostly because of the reminder that just showing up is enough - even if the tech betrays us sometimes. Thank you to Chris for stayinf consistent in the live and coming back to take care of us in the after party.

Loved this! No breakdown, no problem! This is the most fun I’ve had since being a college cheerleader 20 years ago 😂! Also…I love when you’re human because you’re always pretty perfect! No worries about the tech glitches because you’re the actual best!

I loved this! No breakdown was fab - listen and move! And I love that you don't edit your live workouts for us in the afterparty. The workouts with all the wrinkles (technical hiccups etc) is what makes it all real. This week of 80's has been great fun, thank you!
