I've been saying this for years. A dead celebrity is much more profitable than an alive celebrity. Because once they are dead that image is solidified and the character/image is forever set in stone. Look at James Dean he is forever young, never old and never became a has been. Look at Kurt Cobain, we never got see him age or have a artistic creative decline. We never get to see these celebrities change. They will forever be who we perceive them as: one dimensional archetypes with no depth who we will forever buy into.

They get away with it because guess who allowed it? Our own humans, just like you and me and who ever reads this in society created all this bs lmao, but hey, everyone is apparently just realizing the shit that has been going since the conceived concept of governments, Govern Mental.

Why do I feel like Liam Payne is going to be a mini example of this... One Direction's albums have been back on the charts for the first time in about nine years since his passing

Marliyn Monroe despite being the top billing actress of the decade did not have that much money her iconic image is arguably the most popular of all time and it has been sold again and again time after time at 4 years old i started to realise this blonde woman was everywhere from paintings in restaurants to car commercials or on my moms makeup products its kind of legendary that in popularity no actress or woman of entertainment will come close to her but its kind of sad that people who never knew her are practically selling her for now 70 years its sad we see her as the greatest product ever produced and not as a human and it was the view of suxh enormous celebs as products that led to many of their demise

Although it seemed like she was the top actress she was simply not but she Get that acclaim due to her image and the way the public views her as some sort of tragicity and she was not that appreacieted or given chance to prove herself or change the way people view her

@@mustafamehdi1663 not true she was for sure sharing her limelight people always run with her being the most famous woman in hollywood when that just isn’t true it was Elizabeth Taylor who was the top actress and was the first actress to be paid a huge salary with 1 million and we not gonna act like Audrey Hepburn wasn’t in the same limelight as her in 50s same with Grace Kelly

@ man i litr told u thats a fact go search it up its not an opinion elizabeth taylor came to fame after she died and her films were the highest grossing of the 50s for an actress i like grace kelly more but this is not an opinion again she was an icon than and her legacy only became more iconic after her death
@mustafamehdi1663
@mustafamehdi1663 24 күн бұрын
@ well she did share limelight with other icons but she for sure far more famous than them after her death and since most of them had bigger tragedies I wouldn’t say her misery brought her to fame more like the image she built or who she was

Not all celebrities are worth more dead. Some understood the power of their names and took full advantage. Elizabeth Taylor being their first that I could think of. She was a true business woman, opening up doors for others to follow. Also, performers like Madonna, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Taylor Swift are business women who refuse to accept offers less than they are worth. Some legends were unfortunately all about the art. In reality, you have to be about the art and the money.
