Love this video. Kudos to you and Sebastian for sharing. After being in a calorie deficit for 4 months, I can now eat a chocolate bar in front of my husband without shame knowing I haven’t ruined anything. Back on track the next day! I understand how my body reacts to food thanks to your videos.

Very insightful! The secret eating speaks to me. And now that I WFH full time I find myself eating foods I wouldn’t normally for lunch and I’m alone so I feel like I can. Also found the info on access to amenities and how that impacts our movement throughout the day helpful. Thank you for sharing!

Garage = "secret kitchen" FTW🤲 For real though, so honest. So relatable. Great video, J!

The world needs more of this!! So much stigma around food choices / secret eating! Thanks Sebastian for sharing so openly and Jordan for converting this 🙌

This was very informative. I appreciate the open discussion of secret eating. Your advice to eat around others really opened my eyes to my own personal patterns. Thanks, Jordan!

What are your thoughts about a post-menopausal woman working out too much? I'm following a couple of people who state that working out too hard is counterproductive and will actually make us GAIN weight.

The amount of times I have used cash instead of debit/credit card to hide how much I eat is ridiculous

I wish you understood women in Menopause! I strength training 3 days a week, TRY to get at least 7500 steps a day, eat lots of protien & fiber...minimal carbs and I STILL CAN NOT LOSE ANY WEIGHT!

I’m going to answer this exact question in the podcast I’m recording today. I’m recording it with my coach, Susan Niebergall, who is 64 years old, has been a client of mine since 2015, has lost a lot of weight, built a lot of muscle, all while going through menopause and after.

Looking forward to this-I have a similar experience (perimenopause). I am in calorie deficit, strength train 5 days/wk, hit 10,000+ steps a day, and sleep well. I can maintain fairly easily, but hard to shred pounds.

I am 53 and have been struggling to lose any weight the last couple years. I do have to say Jordan’s calorie cycling video helped me so much. I like to enjoy my weekends so I eat less through the week eating mostly protein and eat more on the weekends. I started this the beginning of February and have lost 11-12 pounds. However, I do have to say it’s slower than it used to be.

I am 60 and am fitter than I was when I was 40. Don't be afraid of heavy weights, etc. and don't undereat. My metabolism seemed to increase after I started lifting heavy (after menopause). I think the only difference is your body starts losing muscle mass (though that starts in your 30s and the rate just accelerates) - but you can most definitely slow it down with resistance training. If you haven't done heavy weight training before - follow Jordan and Susan and your weight will just drop off.

Hi! Have you tracked your calorie consumption? It may just be as simple as you’re averaging a calorie surplus as opposed to a calorie deficit. But you’re doing amazing things for your health! Keep up the good work!
