She has good tips you can use for any aesthetic. But yea she was critiquing the guy with the grungy outfit it was obvious that was his personal style and he wore it well. Think it’s important to experiment beyond the basics and find your own style.

I've been dressing my clients in high fashion and streetwear for 10+ years now and know most of the designers and creative directors personally. However, you're not wrong that we don't do streetwear or do much outside of the general standard basics on this channel because past that point, it's very specific to the individual, and also very hard to pull off well due to that. I'm talking to a general, more newbie audience here and showing them how the details matter, even though, yes, you can wear what you want, how you want it. I'm just showing things that most guys would miss who just want to dress better. I guarantee that in a group of 100 guys, 1-2 guys will dress how I propose. So in reality, dressing how I'm describing would make you stand out even more. It's just that noobs don't understand subtly and details yet. Hopefully they'll learn a bit of this on the channel.

1. No need for change. 2. You do not need to be afraid of colour, especially if the rest of your outfit is THAT neutral. 3. (This Outfit would habe been perfect to integrate a wider, contrasting piece. 4.This IS creativity, the outfit you described is way more basic. 5. Works just fine, the contrasting stiching is timeless. 6. Those trousers are very skinny. Period. 7. no comment. 8. This “rule“ is at max a guideline for beginners who do not know anything about colour, you can totally wear more than three, and besides the blue, everything is within the greyscale, so tecnically no colour. 9. You basically say: “Express your personality but with minimal white sneakers, not with the minimal off-white slippers you choose.“ And “dress for your age“ is trash. Period. 10. This entire “dress to look taller“ is overrated, it only works without any reference which is allmost never the case in real life. And in general I think that this advice only strengthens those insecurities instead of being ok. with your height.

I really don't understand this oversized trend going on Everyone is throwing 3-4 sizes bigger clothes here and there Even for shoes
@andrefigueiredo48052 жыл бұрын
agreed. It's horrendous

It's practical and prioritizes comfort, don't knock until you try it. It also borrows heavily from streetwear which is what people prefer these days since everything is much more casual. Seriously though try out an oversized tee at least once, guarantee you don't ever want to go back to your tight, fitted and uncomfortable t shirts srs

@@WyvernX_ i won't lie I haven't tried anything oversized yet except for a few heavy sweatshirts that I added to my closet this past winter. Which are pretty dope I would say. I like the relaxed fit of it but buying clothes 3-4 times bigger than my regular size is not my cup of tea. Some people do like that kind of aesthetic and there's nothing wrong with it. Just not the extremes

the main reason for them is to play with your proportions, some people do it cuz it is cozy, makes them more confortable than walking around with tighter clothes all the time.

see that’s where you are mistaken my friend. Most people think its just going 1 or 2 sizes up when thats false. Oversized t shirts have the same length as regular t shirts just having a wider fit. It’s comfortable and it’s recommended for bigger men. And even then, when done right, it looks good on anyone.

Your channel is the only relevant one for adult men. All the other channels either dress like it's 1920 or like they are 60 going through a second mid life crisis

I love Tim Dessaint his videos are entertaining but he has no style, most of his clothes are so oversized & badly fitted
@manoftomorrow59872 жыл бұрын
I agree. Most oversized-boxy fits really do not look good in reality. Well fitting clothing will always trump anything else.

I mean he's been the main pioneer of the oversized clothing trend on youtube, wouldn't that make him stylish and a trend setter if anything?

@@manoftomorrow5987 Exactly, I thought we reached peak fashion in the early-mid 2010’s with the slim fitted clothes and pants, now everything is oversized, baggy I can’t even find a regular fitted cardigan or sweater anywhere now every sweater is drop shoulder and oversized, all my favorite neon colored skinny trousers, jeans are now impossible to find, if I know all my favorite styles that were EVERYWHERE is now impossible to find, more expensive and cheaper quality I would had bought a bunch of clothes in the early 2010’s. Even those people I knew who were STRICTLY ONLY WEARING SLIM/TIGHT FITTING CLOTHES are now all decked out in achy oversized t shirts and pants…. It’s sad how we went backwards in fashion and went from slim fitted tailored clothes to baggy oversized clothes that is 10x our actual size and makes us look like we’re kids playing dress up in adult clothes….🤦♂️
@shaunharn19982 жыл бұрын
@@WyvernX_ Oversized clothes are so ugly & badly fitted with no style. Slim fitted clothes is the style that should be dominant and stayed dominate from the early 2010’s not the joke oversized baggy pajamas ‘fashion’ we have now in the 2020’s

Style reflects someone's personality. What's good for you may not be good with others. It's their choice on what to wear and I think we should be less critical on how they should have done it better. Fashion is like art and music, always subjective. You're clients are A listers, while most of the people watching these influencers are normal people. There are no rules for style. Let them express themselves and think outside the box.

I've subscribed a month ago, I've already seen two videos of you commenting negatively on other KZbinrs, I've never seen this happen across respectable KZbin channels since 2007... I'm not sure why you're even doing this...but it is not cool. I'll have to unsubscribe...if I find your videos I find them...if not...then not...but no way am I supporting this mentality.
