@@owensy54321 You want a competitive league. Rangers almost single handedly got us in to the top ten coefficient table, meaning we got the automatic CL spot. That is going to disappear in 2025, and there's no chance of us regaining it any time soon cos Celtic never do anything in Europe. You's have actually benefited for the (including next season) past three seasons with CL money. After next season it will be back to the qualifiers, meaning the league winners get less money (cos they often get knocked out in the qualifiers) and then the league gets weaker as Hearts etc don't get group stage football any longer. So maybe stop being so short sighted with your gloating. You'll be back to Europa League group stage football soon enough and the whole league will get weaker with less finances.

Huge difference between a players quality and leadership quality. Not in defence of Tav but Sterling is a young boy, we're still not even sure of his position. Playing fullbacks in midfield doesn’t work,and never has despite us trying it on many occasions over the last 30 years I have been watching. You might get the odd good game but it never works because it’s basically just another defender in the team and the attack suffers.

We are obligated to buy Diomande but I agree with you. I fear Butland will be sold to bring in cash for rebuild but the price has to be at least 15M. I think TC has pissed Clement off too many times by concentrating on his social media career and will be gone but we’ll make some money on him. Would keep Raskin but if he doesn’t start showing what we know he can do consistently, I would punt next season. I have a soft spot for Yilmaz but if he has a really good Euros and a high bid comes in, I would sell.

Butland of course. sterling at right back it's time to make those type of decisions and drop player's who just haven't been good enough which includes the captain . the 2 CB for me the combo should be. Balogun and then he should be paired with Davies. i know a lot of people dont like him but golden hasn't been good enough to justify and Souter as you pointed out always has a mistake plus we do need to start playing natural left footed CB. Davies to me can be good if he has the likes of the Balogun next to help or maybe we start introducing and developing some of out youngsters in the academy. midfield picks it self. Raskin and diomande. the attack cantwell in the middle being the 10 as for wingers...none of them to me stand out to be certain picks and dessers up being the striker because roofe just can't do 90 minutes...Now for the transfer window this is where the amount of backing Michael beale got, clement need to get the same or more backing now to me we need a complete over all, a couple signers in the defence, midfield and attack which means tav needs to get replaced. cause it just isn't working. How many have actually been from ‘Good play’ from their part? I can think of one moment of brilliance from Kyogo in the first old firm game at Celtic Park. Own goals, Penalties, 2 volleys after very poor defensive headers from us, a block from an attempted clearance that sailed in to our net. It’s just putrid from us! 4 games 3 defeats 1 goal in it and it’s always been an absolute shit goal that’s sealed it. Sterling, Ridvan, Raskin, Butland showed heart and that’s about it. Red flags regarding Clements team selection again! Yes injuries hamper us but at least play the best you have available. Big Cup win is doable if you play the right team. Then a huge Summer. I’m not even angry nor disappointed after that shambles today because it was exactly what I expected from the manager and from the players today. I can’t fathom why Clement gets so much credit and praise because he has continually made major selection errors and defended his decisions and his players, the same players that have seen a multitude of managers get the sack! Every podcast I’ve watched over the past few months have varying opinions on who should play where and in what system and regardless of how good or bad the respective opinions might be, not one single person has chosen the players, positions or system that Clement has chosen! Likewise, his subs on numerous occasions including today have been at times absolutely woeful. To say he’s done well is a joke because Rodgers has been criticised all season, and rightly so because they’ve been terrible!
