Cement positive experiences in by posting them on your fridge! Too often negative mindselts brush away positive experiences. It is incredibly helpful when your tinnitus gets better to write a short note like: "I was having a lovely evening with friends and it went so quiet I didn't even notice it," and stick this on your kitchen cabinet or fridge. Put it somewhere you will often see it and be reminded that this is not only possible, but happened to you. This will help the negative saboteur to back off and for you to start staying with your experience rather than being carried away by negative thinking. This is a simple yet powerful way of cementing in the positive!

I have severe tinnitus and been in panic and fear mode for 6 years. I am now accepting it into my life and making positive changes to my life to lover my stress levels in daily life and listening more to my body. Doctors should be well informed today when they speak to patients. That it is no cure. Thats horrible. It makes you panic and it drove me to thinking about killing myself. They are doing serious harm to my tinnitus brothers and sisters. And it was not before i started thinking more possitive around tinnitus and improving my life to relax and take the stress level down i started to coping with it and in many cases you just plainly forget about it. Trust me i know this from personal experience. This man knows what he is talking about ❤️

by amazing coincidence i did exactly that last night. I had a great day, quiet and I wrote on my bedroom wall, and kitchen cupboard. "i feel great, peaceful, and love the quiet. No worries"

Mr Hill....greetings from Chicago...the windy city...they say silence is thunderous...but it's a thunder I miss...I got T in Sept 2017...i lost my 82 k a year job because of this...afterwards I went into a deep depression for 3 weeks...border suicide...but i was a KZbin fanatic prior to getting T...so I tried to find answers on KZbin ...I found a gent called Grey...a KZbinr Gamer...he suffered from T and directed his viewers to you...he said that T sufferers should just go straight to you...I listened ...I heard you...I was inspired by your first video about the stages of T sufferers one goes through...I must of watched that video everyday for inspiration...I was in a bad place ...my mind was always noisy with the demons of T...sir if it weren't for you and your channel ....I might not be here on a 2:28 a.m. Friday morning telling you how grateful I am for you...I don't know how many people's lives you saved ...but I can tell you ...you saved mine...you are the expert on T...more so than probably anyone on the planet...I can't imagine how you dealt with your T at its worst ...when you couldn't even hear the phone ring...but all you have said about T is correct ....T feeds on depression...if you freak out.. your T will always have a happy meal...I choose to not let it in my head...I chose to live!...I learned your techniques..I learned to tune it out...I never thought I'd get to the point I'm in today Aug 3 2018...but it's because of you...really sir...you have probably saved many lives...I don't know if there's a God or a heaven...but you sure are godly in your channel giving people back their heaven of piece of mind with their T....My T is now my health meter...My T now is a friend...it lets me know...hey your alive..I'm here ...and I'm just a noise ....how you chose to deal with me is entirely up to you...I chose to use my T as a warning device of my bad habits I frequent that will upset it...T does get better...T does get easier to deal with...does it go away?...for some yes...but I'm at a comfortable place now with my T...because of you Mr Hill ..I wish I could give back to you what you gave me ....LIFE!!!...I hope you realize what you did for a dumb chap in Chicago...this message is to say Thank You...Thank You...Thank You...with every cell in my body ...I say to you Thank You..!!!!...

Julian has given me my life back too. His positive messages were a life saver. I spent many hours listening to him as well as Grey and Adrian Dickenson in the beginning when T started in November of 2017. I agreed with Fam vas Rees Van Rees - I 've also tried Liam Boehms videos and methods of dealing with T. He provides a schedule of when to have cold showers, when to fast, when to work out, what to eat and when etc.. You will hear Julian reference in his videos a lot of what Liam talks about in his method. I went from the level of T being a constant 7 [ 10 being the worst ] to about a constant 2. Somedays I hardly hear it at all. Other days I hear it but I am able to emotionally deal with it much better now because I know that it will go back down. Paws n Claws - I'm thrilled for your success !

Thank you, Julian. I watch your videos over and over and have cranio-sacral therapy once a week in addition to practicing yoga and meditation. It has made my tinnitus back off a little at a time. I am now at the point where I am not afraid of it and I know it will go away completely one day. As everyone says, you have saved many lives.

I try to write in English but it is not that easy as in German because my motherlanguage is German. What I like to say is, that everybody who suffers from tinnitus, should see your incredable helpful videos. No doubt anylonger that I can let go this horrible symptom. As soon as I heard that it is possible, no miracle, I directly felt better. Many, many thanks to you. I will recommend you to any one, who stucks in this fight of flight modus because they were told, that they must live with this for the rest of their life. If I ever go to London, I would like to thank you personally.

Excellent advice Julian!! For some reason we find it easier, as humans, to dwell on negative things and this is so often at the expense of the positive. Any strategy which helps us focus on and remember the good days with T has to be a good thing!!! Also I would say to tinnitus people 2 things: 1. Dont look upon yourself as a sufferer and 2. Keep away from any stuff on you tube which is either negative or offers a quick fix.

Thank you Julian. It's always a lift to see another of your videos appearing. Some days are so good I am tempted to add to your success story thread, then sadly I have a bad couple of days, then I re-watch the one where you describe a downward trend with occasional spikes. There really is a key point for everyone in your catalogue of advice.

I would add, if it helps anyone, that I liken progress to using a pile of books to reach something high up. Sometimes you add a thick book and raise yourself a decent amount. Another day only a few millimetres. Each yoga session is a book, each walk another. Just keep on adding. Occasionally you'll kick one off by accident and not climb that day. Start the next day by making time for a good session of whatever you're doing to get that height back. That's how I see it anyway. Julian is showing me what books to choose and how to pile them up.

I've been doing that for over three months. I have a chart with color codes and and the levels ( 1-10) of T I'm experiencing. Generally I have low levels or virtually no T about 65 % of the time.When I'm having a bad day it's reassuring to look at the chart. Just as you say. This month I've had a few zero* level days . But my level doesn't change cause I'm having a good experience as far as I know. My T just changes day to day. When I get up and after about an hour it's bad it will say bad all day or if it's good it will stay that way all day. * Zero doesn't mean no sound it means it's such a low level you don't hear it unless you try to think about it

My tinnitus has been constant 24/7 at the same level for a whole week now. I'm 47 and I've never had it for more than 10'seconds once every week or so in either ear and one ear at a time. It stops me from sleeping. It started a few days after taking the caloric part of the VNG test where they pour warm water in each ear and test for vertigo symmetry. I had a head trauma 6 months ago. I never had tinnitus after the accident though. Do you think it will go away and what do you think is causing it? I'm very concerned. Thank you very much.
@Fredrik7le
@Fredrik7le 3 жыл бұрын
My first advice is. Dont panic. This is normal. Dont think avout wheter it will go away or not. It will get down to a level where you dont care anymore and live a perfectly normal life or go away completely. For me its been pretty rough for 6 years (im 35) never listen to doctors that tell you you just have to cope with it bla bla bla. Thats bullshit. I have it too so i know and i have it bad trust me. Ass soon ass you take your stress level down and practise on relaxing techniques. It will slowly disapear in the background. This is not the end of the world. This is a start of you doing possitive thing to improve on compassion for yourself and accepting it into your life and working on it and listening to this mans advice is the right way to treath this condition. Surround yourself with people who have possitive stories to tell about this condition over doing long term treatment for yourself. Never let the negative people drag you down. This is something that needs to be treated ass a possitive turning point in your life. It takes long time but it will pass and go down or dissapear completely. Everybody today wants their quick fix. This is not a quick fix dissorder. This is something you need to treat over time and practise on. Work with it not against it is my best advice. (Severe tinnitus for 6 years myself and ass soon ass i started treating myself better and dealing with my anxiety it went down slowly. Never give up. Take it day by day. You will get better over time or maybe totaly get rid of it. But it will get better. Trust this man he knows what he is talking about. He is doing it the right way. Good luck from a Tinnitus Brother ❤️

Alongside tinnitus .. I'm presently grappling with high anxiety that appears to be NOT related as I've had tinnitus for years and have come to terms with it enough that it's lost some of its punch - plus the anxiety seems to have cropped up out of nowhere. So, I'm wondering if this technique would also work for that. ~ Anyone have experience with this?
