Today is about celebrating the physical, mental, and emotional conditioning you have cultivated and experienced thus far.
By now, you may have noticed the ways in which some of the poses are starting to feel different. There are days where your body is tired. Those days will exist, and it is on those days we ask the mind to focus and be strong. On other days you will notice poses that were once unstable and shall we say humbling - are now sturdier, engaged with a greater sense of ease. The body feels stronger.
The strength may also come from having the courage to know when to rest. This is when our emotional state takes priority and is considered.
It is important to remember that strength comes from showing up, not from any one singular approach but from a commitment to cultivating a regular or daily practice of centering.

Wow guys, while normally I try to do what Adriene has set up for the exercises even if I don't want to, because there is joy to be found in completing a task you didn't think you could do. However, today I listened to my body and I told her she didn't have to do all the ab work, as I woke up with a headache (weather sensitive sinuses) and also sore from yesterday's gym session. But I showed up! And spent some time in child's pose and loosening up my shoulders instead. I _am_ strong. And I listen to my body. Thank you for teaching me to, Adriene. (also I think my deadlifts are way more stable after all that rooting down while rolling up to standing!!)

I pretty much skip a lot of ab work and do other things instead, the things that I do yoga for. FWFG ! (Find what feels good).

If I had told myself a month ago that I would be able to practice Yoga consecutively for 21 days I would have had a hard time believing myself. During this time I traveled from my homeland to the country I'm studying in, started uni again, had a difficult time emotionally and while the overwhelming majority of the tasks on my to-do list are not crossed off, I am just so incredibly proud of myself for showing up! Thank you so much Adriene for being part of that :)

Glad you have found yoga to be an anchor in your many changes and challenges. Travel can really throw things off. You are inspiring me as I have a trip coming up and want to keep going even when the month is up. Showed up today even though I really didn’t feel strong. Glad I did.

What a humbling practice. I felt weak, embarrassed, and disappointed today but I realize there is power in showing up and giving what I have to offer. Adriene makes me feel empowered to take the modifications that I need and gives me strength goals to work towards. Blessed to share this practice with all of you.

One of my favourite things about yoga is learning to meet the poses where I am at. Sometimes that looks different for me year over year with injuries, or day to day with emotions. I've found that as time goes on it does get easier to accept where I am, and that what I have to give that day is enough - no matter what it looks like. What an incredible journey the yoga practice is. Thank you for sharing!

I didn't feel my best today, I had a late night yesterday and was still tired in the morning (and this is when I usually do my practice), plus an unpleasant headache, so it was super hard to bring myself onto the mat. The more proud I am now that I did it :) And I even managed to stack the legs in the end! And I also fell - and laughed about it! I'm so grateful to Adriene for this new ability to laugh when I fall. Breathing love out, namaste to you all fellow yogis, disciplining our minds and bodies and learning kindness at the same time ✌

Today was the first time I was able to hold the side planks without the kickstand halfway through! It's easy to loose sight of the progress you've made in the day to day, and so great to take a moment and acknowledge how far you've come. Thank you everyone for sharing this journey :)

My period stated yesterday and I tend to avoid exercise due to the intense pain I get but I’ve remained consistent and just completed my 21st day. Feeling proud

Morning everyone, wow Day 21 and this one certainly tested the Strength. When I switched on the video 6am (not shown as a Premiere this morning?) and saw Adriene had her hair in a bun my heart sank a little ... hair up means we will be working hard! And yes this session did work my core strength, my arms were shaking during the side plank and the heart was pumping by the end 😟. But you know what, I told myself "you've got this, keep going"! and I'm proud of myself for finishing with minimal modifications. Well done to everyone else practising today (and in the future) We are strong. Have a great day and see you on the mat tomorrow🙏💖

I have realised that sometimes not being able to do all of the moves perfectly is okay, and it's okay to stumble and fall down because it means that I'm trying :D I'm also learning a lot about energy preservation and how I should never go past my limit in the middle of a move because I need to save up some energy for the end. Pushing my limits make me feel like I actually am strong, and I'm so thankful for Adriene for creating this opportunity

Hello fellow Beautiful Beams of Light! Thank you, Adriene and everyone here. I love reading the comments. Opens my heart to see your heart open. Wakes me up and strengthens and softens my body, mind and spirit. Grounding practice today, greatly appreciated. Day 21 in the heart cart. God bless. Giddy up lol. During and after practice i feel more open and inclined to meditate afterwards. Even if i just have 5 golden min. Peace, love, joy and light to all beings everywhere. Heart melts open a little more each moment in gratitude.

Three years ago I tried to follow an Adriene course and just could do very little so I stopped. I had no real understanding of Yoga. I’ve been practicing fairly regularly since. Three years later, and three years older, I have ‘shown up’ every day and been able to do my own modifications when needed. I’ve never done yoga daily like this year - without doubt the most yoga in a time span ever. This is a wonder series, the time length is perfect. Most of all it shows that yoga is a journey. In time, with practice, your body gets you there! 🙏🏻

When I saw the title of today's practice, I was a little worried that I didn't have the energy for it. Not only did I push myself through it, but I feel incredibly strong and energized afterward, ready to take on the day! If you are also doubting yourself, know that you can do it, you are strong! 💪 Thank you to the 6.5k people around the globe who practiced with me. Oooh yes! That defines my last year. Allowing happiness to come and go had allowed me to do the same with my pain. Letting go must happen on both ends (for me)

Usually side planks are so incredibly difficult because my arms are twigs but I was actually able to hold the postures the whole time! Amazing how your body gets stronger a little bit over time without even noticing

Yeah! I’ve noticed it with lowering from plank to the floor - I can actually do it now and not just collapse at the end

Good morning! When I read that todays practice was about strength, my initial reaction was: oh no! I feel so weak today.. But actually, I am strong, and when wispering that to myself, I felt it and believed it. Even though I did need to adjust here and there, I still showed up, and made the most out of it! Thank you💙

I totally feel you. It was exactly the same for me here. I had an adverse reaction when I saw Adriene in the side plank, a pose I cannot hold with my feet in line and I felt extremely tired. But I did it, little adjustments needed. We're strong and we're in this together 🙏

I saw the title of todays and thought ' oh this is going to hurt' - but no - lots of abs - and I AM STRONG! Thanks for reminding me, and reminding me not to worry what my body can't do before trying - but focus to on the many things it can do, does well, and it all brings joy with strength.

i struggled a lot in the beginning of this practice but i showed up, stuck with it all the way through, and ended up surprising myself toward the end and for that i'm proud

Today, I was not so sure if the hardest part was showing up.. very humbling experience today and still felt better afterwards 😊. Thanks for teaching us to listen to ourselves, body, mind & soul, dear Adriene 💜.

I went to the Women’s March this morning and joined thousands of other other women who are fighting for our bodies and our rights. Then I came home and did this strong woman workout! This practice was a continual reminder to me of the strength of women and the power of our collective will. I whisper to myself, “I am strong” and then, “WE are strong!” 💪🏼✊🏼💪🏼

PMSing here - wasn't hard to get to the mat, but my mood became very irritable during the practice. Thanks, hormones! I tried my best to be kind to myself, and modify for my emotions and my tiredness. I'm proud of myself that I did it. Now it's time for a rest day for me. Following my body and trying to love myself through the times when your mind is critical is one of the most powerful lessons I have learned. I'm writing this comment in case anyone is feeling their feelings today or is going through PMS you are not alone. 😘

Dear Adriene, It's been my first 21 days of yoga ever, and I have loved every day. Thank you so much. My dog Stanley is with me every day, and today, when Benji came to check on you when we were doing the short, sharp exhales, Stanley came running, too. So it's like we're both mimicking what's going on on the screen ;-). This journey has been such a blast, and I'm beyond grateful. So is Stanley. Thank you!

Day 21! 3 weeks, y'all! Way to go. I start a new job tomorrow and I have been having all kinds of feelings today. I knew I'd get to the mat and at least feel a little bit more grounded and ready for what's ahead. 💃

I'm thankful that this abs/core session came later in the calendar than in previous years I've participated in. Having built my strength through 20 days meant I was so more stable even in my personally dreaded side plank. In past years I'd get discouraged and not want to move on. Thanks for the great pace of Center!

Well, something is definitely changing in me! I have struggled for a long time with the simple transition from a cross-legged seat, rolling through to all fours - I just had a block about it and always curled round sideways. This morning, as the dreaded transition came up I heard my mind say, 'Come on Jen, you can do this' and I did! It was easy! Several times this month on the mat I have heard myself thinking that I can't do something and my body/mind has just gone on and done it. Thank you Adrienne for helping me through my own blocks - is that light at the end of the tunnel? 😃🙏

I was feeling very low on energy today, so I am so proud of myself for making it through this practice without becoming frustrated with myself - when I was shaky and fell in side plank, I kept getting back up again - progress! It really resounded with me when Adriene said that this practice is mental and physical conditioning

I am strong! We are strong! I knew today was going to be challenging, and I was slightly fearing it; however, I made it through and got to admire my strength and how much it has grown over this journey. I can't believe there's only 9 days left!? What on earth am I going to do on Feb 1st? This journey has done so much good for my practice and nothing short of WONDERS for my mental health. I absolutely need to stay consistent like this, there is no other option. My mental, emotional, and physically health will simply not be without it! Yoga forever I guess 🩷

I felt so strong today! I had covid during the holidays and the road to feeling physically strong again seemed long and daunting. Center has been the perfect opportunity to reconnect with my body through patience and perseverance🤍💪 So grateful for this journey and for you Adrienne🥰

CENTER 𑁍 STRENGTH | January 22, 2023 | You know Adriene means business when she's got the bun! 😂 It's so true that this practice shines a light on the mental strength just as much as our physical strength. What is it that gives up first, your mind or your body? It's been a long week, and I needed that reminder that I am strong (as always including 'Ruth Bader Ginsburg' in that mantra)! 🙏

Definitely was the first time I felt the pay off of daily yoga! I actually could hold the side pose longer than I before 😅 Glad to have finished day 21 with you all! See you on day 22!

Hi Adriene, For me, Day 21 Thus far is the most challenging practice so far out of all the practices. Focusing on center while raising head with hands behind head required mental focus. And holding the core in and maintain breathing in and out. Side blanks I still need to put one foot in front for stability, while pulling the hips up higher to work the obliques. I even started shaking when doing side blanks. I feel strong after the practice but I think I need to do this practice again to get better and stronger. Thank you for a challenging practice for the mind, body and soul. 💜😊🙏

I had really bad day today, but I came. I struggle through, scaling down to have it on my today's edge to have it challenging, but not to the breaking point. I am proud for completing today's practice. Tomorrow is a new day, and we will see each other again. Stay strong everybody! If not physically hen mentally and emotionally!

I can't believe I've made it to day 21! Since the beginning of this yoga journey, I've moved to a different country, started a new job and had a very unfortunate visit to the emergency room and I managed to get to the mat and practice on every single one of these challenging days.
