Another practice that shows that slow and respectful can be so powerful. I saw a comment on yesterday's practice about enjoying the swiftness and it was kind of nice but I was actually rather surprised by how well and easy I was able to keep up and it's because of all the slow and gentle work that I have done with Adriene's practices throughout the years. I enjoyed yesterday's practice but I would not want to be that swift all the time I don't think I would stick with it because my nervous system needs a break from what to me can feel like rushing. Anyway not valuing any one thing or view over another exactly but just expressing my appreciation for recognizing that slow and gentle is actually powerful as well which is often forgotten in today's world, and I'm so appreciative Adriene values and leads us often in that along with other tempos and cadences, so I can learn gentleness in the swiftness and movement in the stillness 😊❤

I had been feeling that it was about time for a core-centric practice. I feel that way when I'm having a harder time feeling that connection to core within other movements. This was awesome! Something interesting is that it burned a LOT more than the last core I did (in which it took longer to feel the burn than normal), but I think I'm also able to connect and activate the core much MORE in these low-to-the-ground, focused exercises than I used to. Growth comes in many ways. Thank you 💚

That was lovely, and totally not what I was expecting from the title 'Total body yoga' I thought I'd be struggling more, that I'd have to take more breaks. I was not feeling a core yoga session today. I am so sunburnt all over my legs and my mind constantly goes back to Elijah McClain, I cried my eyes out after reading about his story today. But I did it and it gave me a sense of optimism and self power. I did ab work today despite it being a painful day! Thank you Adriene and team.

After my various bowel cancer surgeries last year, I'm still healing and not yet back to full abdominal strength. These practices are definitely helping! Thanks so much, Adriene!

Thank you Adriene for showing the world that you can achieve the body you desire with love and respect, and not through torture and pain. I truly love and appreciate what you do.

Great practice. Short and sweet, but really works the body in a mindful way. My core is stronger than it has been in years, and all without a single crunch. Yoga core work is so much better for the body. So much more connected. This one has gone on my favourites list. Thanks.

This was so AWESOME!! I truly can't believe it - Adriene THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I only just started my yoga journey about 6 months ago through YWA and this practice is proof of my improvement! I kept saying "Wow! Am I actually doing this? With ease too!" throughout this entire practice - I was laughing at the prana when it got tough instead of beating myself up mentally for "struggling." I feel so strong and supported. I even cried a little during mountain just because I am so grateful to have found my yoga practice. It has seriously saved me, not only helped my physical body feel better but I am definitely benefitting off the mat, mentally, as well from YWA. Just - thank you thank you thank you. I truly believe you have saved my life. Namaste.

🏋️♂️Process Day 8⛸ Just did this practice for the first time, and I practiced with 27 yogis all across the globe, but I would just like to say that this was the perfect amount of pushing myself to my limit but in a mindful way, it was really perfect for where my body’s at right now! Sending love and light as always❤️💫 Namaste🙏

I can't believe I did this!!!!!🥳🥳🥳 Before I got home I thought i wouldn't have the energy to do today's practice. I went into the bedroom and I said to myself "you can do it" even tho i didn't really believe I actually did it and it wasn't as hard as I expected it to be.

Straight off a health exam with endoscopy, no sedation, I switched out and did the Nov. 25 calendar practice. Felt really good after that bad rollercoaster ride this morning. I will return to this one this week. Nourish day 18. 410 days in a row.

Thankfully it is done with and your anxiety level may be lessened.

@@Karen-pe6oc Interestingly, I had no anxiety in the morning when I woke. I had to laugh because I even went in expecting a colonoscopy as part of the mandated exam here. Turns out, it was a mistranslation given to me by my director. The Korean nurses at the desk were laughing when I questioned them about my missing test. Like I needed to add that one to what was already done.

Hi adriene, I discovered you in this lockout. I have tried many ways of exercising on and off all these years. But with this I am hooked. I have been following your june calendar till date. Have list 2kgs weight, absolutely no sciatic pain, was unable to sit in sukhasana for even 2secs as of june 1st, but now i dont have a problem at all. All this seems like a miracle to me. So grateful to have you. Looking forward to my practice everyday. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for not just this video, but everything you do! I barely made it through this the first time, and that required multiple breaks, but over time this video has become a staple in my practice and gets used about 4-5 times a week, and I'm noticing ongoing changes in my core and upper body from doing so. After losing 120 pounds, your videos are the first thing I've found to make true progress in not just toning my body, but making me feel strong and loving my body. Thank you Adriene!

I cannot express how thankful I am for finding this channel! Just two days ago I finished the 30 day at home yoga challenge, and the next day I did yoga for the first time on my own! I used everything that Adriene taught me during my own yoga practice. But then I found myself missing Adriene while I was doing her yoga.... so now I am here! Thank you for helping myself grow, both mentally and physically, Adriene

Taking this time for myself has really become an integral part of my weekdays at college. I can't explain how much I appreciate these videos - I look forward to my study breaks now instead of always mindlessly scrolling through my phone.

Out of all core strength yoga practices, this is definitely my new fave! It has enough intensity to get me sweating but not too over that makes me breathing as if I’m running out of oxygen lol. Definitely would come back to this one again and do it to build my strength 💪🏽

When this practice first came out, I remember collapsing in tears in the middle of mindful mountain climbers because my body couldn’t hold me up anymore. I saw it as weakness then. If I could go back and give myself a hug, I would ❤️ I am still learning and growing, but today I was able to pick up the pace and even hold my own in high lunge, which has always been a challenge for me. I’m still working on my chaturanga, but I honor where I am today. Thanks Adriene 🙏🏼

I love coming back to this every couple of months, I notice how much stronger I feel and controlled my movements are. I don’t do yoga often but I’ve been lifting and focusing on Mobility and it’s so nice to come back and see my progress. Today I completed the entire practice routine without skipping anything and I feel great.
