Most important for basic self defense. I don't regret learning this fighting style.

Training with Sifu Francis Fong in Atlanta, he'd never let you have his centerline. I honestly never understood the concept until watching your videos.

Question: Can you do some Chi Sao entry techniques? I'm an advanced student who loves your teaching approach but I've already learned all of what you have discussed in your basic videos.

Thank You for this helpful video. Recently I was thinking about such scenario: short person fights a 2m tall attacker with much longer arms. What should someone do in such case to not get knocked out by the powerful yet fast left or right hook strike? Is putting enough preassure and avoiding chasing hands enough? What if someone fights against well defending enemy and he is not able to do enough damage to win a fight? Sounds like wing chun is all about throwing all someones got on opponent and hoping for the best.

Wing Chun is a pressure fighting self-defense system. When your in close, longer arms matter less. When you get good at simultaneous attack and defense, it’s the moment that they attack you is when they are most vulnerable.

Hello again (lol..) As you know, I'm really enjoying your videos. Very knowledgeable and insightful. Just curious to hear your thoughts - how long does it take one to master Wing Chun and..... maybe even more importantly - what MAKES a Wing Chun master?

Thanks for another great video Sifu I recently discovered a new hand and forearm strengthening tool that also increases wrist flexibility I think you might like it it's called a gyro ball check it out it's not expensive and very effective
@sifuadamwilliss2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jarrod. I’ve used a gyro ball before. One of my students got me one. However, for higher levels of Wing Chun, you want to learn how to relax the hand more than strengthen it.
