This is AWESOME! You've saved my (insanely freaked out) beagle, a rescue from the RSPCA with a very heavy past. I dropped that the day we got him and even though we were ready to k i l l him many times 😜😉 because he would WHINE 24/7 non stop. I mean. all. the. time. I had never had a dog this traumatized and you really helped me. He's (almost the perfect Happy go Lucky dog - still a food thief 🗯MAN that one is hard with THAT nose!) so happy now and doesn't whine any longer (unless food is involved in the near future). But more importantly, this is my son's dog and he has a disability that prevents him from reading body language and your teachings and the way you describe how to read a dog helped him tremendously with his dog but with his life in general. I can't thank you enough CesarSan. Thank you so much. So grateful! 🙏 (also the dancer behind you is taking all the attention away from you 🤣)

We all know how cool Cesar's parrot is - what else would we expect! Unfortunately, his constant movement behind Cesar in videos like this steals a human's attention from Cesar's explanations & answers that so many of us need to hear or re-hear. . . but that can't be done while something directly in our visual field is distracting our full attention from what Cesar is saying. Such a shame - I always enjoy seeing all the other animals that Cesar has! ❤️

Never learned how to walk on a leash😥, so he's somewhat overweight. I take him most every day for car rides. It's only him and me, some family members moved out in March, so now he's just stuck with me, an old lady😥. He doesn't do much unless somebody comes by. Not often. He gets So excited !!! I've never seen a dog LOVE PEOPLE SOOO MUCH !!! HE'D HAVE A 20, OR A PARTY ALL THE TIME WITH PEOPLE !!! Anyway, could You give me advice somehow. What I can do for him ? And, feeding too I give him Hamburg, Ground Turkey. Needs something more. Has allergies, paw licking, some anal gland issues. Never had a dog with that. THANK YOU !!! I LOVE ANIMALS !!! I have to say that Cesar has been a wonderful dog training information staple in my life. He is full of excellent advice. I get really tired of other trainers criticizing his use of the term “Alpha” as if that is a silly idea and then turn around when teaching their own students what to do use words that mean exactly the same thing like “be in charge” or “be the leader”.

My question is about eye contact. My dog James was a therapy dog, visiting alzheimers patients and other mentally ill adults. His eye contact with them was one of his most helpful traits for putting them at ease ,and bringing a sense of peace to people who are often unstable. How does he do that? I thought for dogs making eye contact was pretty pushy, even aggressive. But James would just calm people down with his soft eye contact, his nickname was "Human Eyes." His vibe was calmness even when the patients were agitated. Since dogs absorb what the energy around them is, how does he do that?

Trying to get some advice about my daughters dog. She got a border collie pup 6 months ago (she admits now she didnt know enough about the breed) but she took him to puppy classes for general training. But he's always been very excitable and nippy, now to the point hes getting aggressive biting her for no reason. (Obviously some reason but you know what I mean) The vet recommended a behaviourist but she doesn't actually deal with the dog. She's just given daughter a lot of reading which daughter says isn't basic material and finding it hard to understand. She's at the point where she thinks she'll have to surrender the dog. Thats not what she wants but is the end of her tether (Shes in Wales UK)

I'm not sure where to send a question for one of your wonderful Q&A sessions? I would be fascinated to hear your thoughts on the issue of human allergy to dogs? Do you feel this is any way something we can unlearn so to speak on a spiritual level? Or just something to sadly accept as being an allergy to protein in the dander and have to go down the route of allergy shots etc. in order to have a dog? Thank you so much for all your wisdom over the years.

Hey Cesar, I'm a self-taught trainer and I work for free rehabilitating dogs around my area. I have this one dog I'm stumped on who is terrified of everything, he's really small maybe 8 pounds and he shakes as soon as I enter, the woman tells me he even barks at her husband, he's very attached to her. I've worked on some desensitization and sometimes I just let him run on the treadmill for 20m on a 12 degree incline at around 1.4 speed and he feels like a different dog, more energetic and curious, way less scared. The problem is that every time I return he kinda goes back to the same way. I was wondering how I can make progress with him?

This is as much of a spiritual teaching as you’ll get from any known “spiritual teacher”. Its amazing the power dogs have to bring that part out in humans. Your dog is your mirror, your dog is literally holding up a mirror to you. If you see it in your dog, it’s coming from you. So we’re the ones with work to do.

Hi Cesar. So I work from 5am to 1:30. Takes me about 30 mins to get home. I have my Australian Labradoodle puppy five months in his crate from when I leave in the morning until I get home. I let him out as soon as I get home. I take him to the park to walk for about an hour. We go home her hangs out with me until about 7:30pm I put him back in the crate to sleep. He wakes up at 3am and cry’s until I get up and let him out to go potty. I want him to sleep to at least 4am because that’s the time I get up. Sometimes I just let him cry. Sometimes he will go back to sleep sometimes no. Maybe he’s ready to get up? But I’m not! What do you suggest. Thank you, Christina

I would love to know what Cesar recommends but here are my thoughts …… Maybe you could check into doggie day care to wear him out or try an additional evening play period or walk. Also keeping him up a little later than 7:30 could help getting him to sleep through til 4am. A quick walk or playtime before work would also benefit him. If I’ve calculated correctly your puppy is spending 18 hours of every day in a crate. I have a 5 month old Great Dane and he has wayyy too much energy for that.

I've learned so much from you! Thank you for investing in us & our dogs! I do have an issue with one of my two mixed terriers. We live out in the country and don't get visitors very often (maybe once a month someone might stop in). Ralphie gets overly excited when visitors arrive. I've used your methods to calm him and it works. If there are children visitors, I keep Ralph leashed to me at all times. But he still gets excited at their fast movements & loudness. Kids will be kids; they're not going to slow down or be quiet for the sake of a dog and I don't expect them to. My dogs have never been crated, (they're 5 years old), and I really don't "want" to crate Ralphie during the ultra rare times that we have a child visitor. But if you think that is the best solution, I will crate train him. He's a quick learner, but the problem is me. In all my years of having dogs, I've never crated any of them. He's been the only dog I've ever had that can't be trusted around little kids. Any insight you have is greatly appreciated.

Dear Cesar, I know you must hear this a lot. Thank you so much for being you and sharing with us the wonderful knowledge and information for being a better human for my dogs. QUESTION: I have a 1-1/2 year old rescued standard Goldendoodle spayed female, and her previous owner never socialized her and she only had access to a backyard. I exercise her on daily walks for 3 hours since I adopted her two months ago and take her to the dog park for socialization after a long walk every day,. She walks great on leash next to me, however, at the dog park she gets some fear aggression with large dogs or dogs that she doesn't know, she also chases small dogs that are scared of her. I try to correct her in the moment, but she runs away from me and tries to get around me to nip the dog she is barking at or is chasing and ignores my correction. She has never actually bit a dog hard, but I am afraid she will one day do this to the wrong dog and get hurt. Her prey drive is also very high. Is it my energy that is causing this? What am I doing wrong? What can I do better? What is she trying to tell me? Thank you.

I love your training and I have been watching your videos for a while. Six months ago I adopted a retired female miniature schnauzer. She is 5 and had never worn a collar or used a leash, not socialized or played. The breeder had a beautiful facility but had too many dogs to give them individual attention. The dog is beautiful, I taught her to walk on a leash and a few commands. We walk twice a day approximately 40 minutes each time every day, rain or shine and she loves it! She walks next to me or behind. Here is my dilemma, she barks and growls at men when they come to the house. How can I help her stop this behavior when it is not a situation of danger?

Thank you Cesar for great videos and info. Wish you could tell me how to get my Jack Russell to stop screaming when she sees dogs or people. I am afraid a larger dog will kill her!

Actually my serious question is why is the Dog Whisperer not available to stream any where? I would love to watch it from episode 1 all the way to the end.

As I understood, the production company, cheated on Cesar Millan & seem to have taken (stolen) away the rights for Dog Whisperer & it's brand.😡

What a beautiful family of love and harmony--and that hilarious bird! I am not a dog person, sadly. They truly scare me. I dream of being bitten. I don't trust them (but I love cats!). But, alas, I'm too allergic to all animals to have any. I heard you say on Kara's program that you want to see a woman in all of her 'world's', her family, her work, her church, etc., in order to understand who she is truly is and see her spirit in action. I think this is such good advice for young people today! THIS is how you know the heart of a person---how do they treat their parents? How do they treat their employer, do they love God and live accordingly? Not looks, not money, not status. Wow. Your sons are very fortunate to have been taught this. Blessings to you.

The dog training concepts taught are actually straight from Genesis 1:28 where God tells the newly-minted humans to govern the things He created. If more people would follow this, our pets, children, and the rest of creation would be peaceful and blessed.

Yup - affection at the wrong time. So many people reward their dogs for behavior they do not want! My sister yells at her dog for barking. Sounds like she is joining in in the noise making! If I was a dog I would think she is barking too.

Mr Milan, You changed my life for good, would you please answer my question, There are so many stray dogs in my neighborhood, I feed them, vaccine, anything, but when they are in their packs they act aggressively, I got bitten twice, but that's ok, I get it, it's just I get super anxious when I walk my dog outside, I'm afraid they fight, How can I solve this? Too many stray dogs, like 50.

Cesar, you've inspired me for many years, beginning before I ever became a grandmom, I'm careful not to give my age away lol, but we've also been a family and household of rotties from when my son now in his thirties, was a small boy today we have 4 rotties, helping me raise my grandchildren Its challenging as they technically are my son's furbabies, but since his wife abandoned him and his four children for the 2nd time around, just over 3 months ago, his heart is broken and as a result I've had more to do, more to deal with as most of the animals, children and house now fall in me. I've used your approaches for many years and as much as Im able as I also live with some health issues. I know, or should say in pretty sure you don't come to Canada as I cannot recall a time you have on one of your many TV shows, and sure could always get your help, but with what I do know, it has been life altering, as I've been able to help and work with our dogs, a long with many other dogs of family, friends and even others I don't know, when situation arise. So THANK YOU!!!! God bless you, your family, your fur babies and your friends. You truly are an incredible human!!! ❤️

The yorkie is still a puppy, he may calm down as he gets more mature. I wonder if the owner is at work all day and comes home at 6pm. The dog has separation anxiety and is afraid alone, then is excited to have the owner home. And like you said the dog isn’t getting enough exercise. I’m thinking the owner doesn’t know much about dogs or their needs.

Cesar, I get what you're trying to do.... You are trying to create a legacy that Andrea can take advantage of. BUT if that is your objective,... you need to re=evaluate your priorities. Let me ask you something.... Do you remember the name of Billy Graham's son? I doubt it even though Billy Graham made "an effort" to pass on his legacy. It requires more than that!!! You have to pass the torch more clearly. Are you willing to do so??? I wonder.
