This song hits me so hard. Just the fact that eventually he'll be called to battle is one of the most painful things to think about let alone see like in this video. SCP 999 doesn't understand the full extent of what he's to face, yet despite seeing the entire multiverse crash around him, he's just excited to put a smile on the one who truly needs it the most; his own father who never had a care for him or anyone else to begin with. Even in fiction, he acts so real as his powers effect even us in a non-fictional way. Maybe this is why our world has no more monsters or mysterious entities left; he let himself be given up so we could live without the SCP's. You didn't have to do that, 999, but the fact that you did makes you the true 8th wonder of our world.

Yep, it’s happened, I’ve reached the point in my life where I’m crying about a song about an orange blob of happiness jelly. But really, this little dude has been my life ever since I entered secondary. He means so much more to me and SCP then just being a weird blob. He is a Beacon of happiness in a world of pure madness and confusion, a light of purity in a world where innocence has been long forgotten. He’s the embodiment of what we should all strive to be, happy. He is so, so much more then a monster. He’s perfect. One year later: After a whole year, this song is still capable of bringing me to tears, and I think I get why now. This song is an auditory hug and kiss to me. It says all the things to me wich I wish people in my life would say. It gives me comfort and affection in a way that I crave. Me from one year ago and me now I decently different in how they understand themselves, and I’m glad that this song was at least a stepping stone in learning about me and what I need in life. So yeah, I’m listening before I go to bed now 🙃

Well, if you believe that he’s the 7th child of the Scarlet King, born when the Foundation decided to put an end Procedure Montauk, then I suppose that makes sense.
