For anyone following this tutorial in 2022 and beyond, the new shortcut to switch to different objects while in Sculpt mode or in Edit mode (mentioned at 14:30 in the video) is *Alt + Q.* And it's now enabled by default; you don't have to go into preferences to turn it on.

@@cgboost And thank *you* for the phenomenal sculpting tutorial! I really wish more tutorials on KZbin were this comprehensive; even if I can't master every single part of the workflow presented here, it's incredibly helpful to see all the various tools and techniques used and get a grasp on what parts I need to work on to improve myself. And I suspect that if I sign up on the CGBoost website, I'll find more courses and tutorials that can help me with that! By the way, do you know how long it took to sculpt and pose this guy? I'm currently working at about a 20:1 ratio of my time spent sculpting compared to time elapsed in the video. But I'm determined to get through it!
@cgboost2 жыл бұрын
@@StraveTube The video is skipping over a bit and heavily sped up at other times so it would be hard to guage how fast you may be in comparison. I wouldn't worry about it though as speed is achieved through time and experience. Keep at it and you'll get there :) ~ Daniel

Add an empty, select all the objects, and parent them to the empty 3. Scale the empty to your liking. Select the child objects, press Alt+P, and choose Clear And Keep Transform 4.
