I had no idea about the concept of "Animation blocking". No wonder I always give up on animations all the time. I try to perfectly setup everything all at once each on each keyframe and it ends up becoming and unmanageable nightmare. This makes so much more sense as a workflow for animation. Great vid as always!

Mannequin's back is so unnaturally arched in this process, but as for learning purpose for IK-FK switch it is an awesome job to do, good work!

I always get a rush of dopamine when I see you release a new video. It's impossible not to learn at least one thing in your videos.

Now that you have started a series on animation. Can we get a review of animation layers addon in cgdive style.

It's on my list for sure. I haven't used it much yet, to be frank... so it might take some more time.

I can't seem to find an answer to my issue, but I feel like you would know as your videos are so in-depth. Anytime I click on the torso box part of my rig and attempt to move it downward to make my character crouch for walking, idle, jumping, etc. the entire body moves with it. I've tried using auto-ik on or off, but don't know much else. I'm pretty new to this and have been following along some of your videos, but it seems like yours works by default

Is you rig rigify? If so, watch this kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHzKeWiwja6Mo68

How did you generate that special widget to rotate around the bar? I am in need of this because i am trying to keep my mocap pole dancer wrist and hands on the dance pole while she dances on the pole.

Amazing as always! Thanks for doing what you're doing Todor! Quick one, what does the "FK Limb Follow" do exactly?
@CGDive2 жыл бұрын
It determines whether the limb will rotate with it's parent(the body) or if it keeps its orientation. Just test it. I think I explained it a bit here kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHzKeWiwja6Mo68

Hi Todor I am trying to export blender animation (using armature) as glb format to hololens project. But the file not getting load and giving the error msg" "step contet failed to load". Object animation and parent to bone animation works fine in hololens but not the skin weights files. Please help me to get rid off it.
@CGDive2 жыл бұрын
I haven't seen this error but I covered how to export a clean glb file in my video about exporting to Godot kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6jdapSGmbuifMk

@@CGDive thanks for reply buddy. I have already seen this video and my animations are working fine in other platforms like unity. We are using Microsoft dynamics 365 for hololens and that is where the problem coming. Any idea about ms dynamic 365 pipeline..?
@CGDive2 жыл бұрын
@@venkateshrn8422 ah, I see. No, I haven't used it and I don't own a hololens. Since the problem is only with their product, a bug report seems to be the way to go.

Is it possible for key frame animation to compete with mocap data ? I'm a diehard supporter of Keyframe animation but I feel something lacking in it as compare to mocap data. Keep it up.
@CGDive2 жыл бұрын
I'm no animator... But I think certain things need to be key framed. And cartoony animation for example can't be mocaped. So I think each has its place.

If you understand the ARP rig, it should be possible to follow this tut. Where do you get hung up?

@@CGDive i mean i want a hand and wrist pivot point like rigify in arp
@CGDiveАй бұрын
@@BuildYourselfUpBYU I don't think ARP has that currently. Don't let stuff like this stop you. These are nice little helpers but they are not essential. You can definitely create this animation without them.
