墨西哥餅皮的口感比較扎實,餅皮有一點層次、表面因烙出焦色點點而不平整。也因為材料單純,口味上主要是吃麵粉本身的香味,自己做很簡單,材料都是最基本的廚房常備品,麵粉、水、油與鹽就能搞定!而且自己新鮮現做的餅皮實在非常美味,超市裡面包裝好的餅皮完全不能比。

If your pantry ran out of tortilla but you were really craving quesadilla, it’s time to make tortilla by yourself! You don’t need to go out just for tortilla. It’s really easy to make it at home. You only need 4 basic ingredients that already laid in your kitchen. Try the recipe and enjoy the best and freshest, homemade tortilla!
:Recipe:
Ingredients▼
all purpose flour, 160 g
hot water, 100 g
vegetable oil, 15 g
salt, 1/2 tsp
:Instruction:
●Making the Dough
1. In a mixing bowl, add the flour and salt then mix them well.
2. Make a well in the center and pour into vegetable oil and hot water. Mix them well. If the dough is too wet, add some flour.
3. Dust the baking mat with flour. Transfer the dough onto the baking mat. Also dust the dough and hands.
4. Knead the dough for about 10 min. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour.
5. Roll the dough into a ball. Shape each small dough into a ball.
6. Cover and let them rest for 30 min.

●Rolling Out the Dough
1. Dust the baking mat, the dough and your hands with flour.
2. Roll out the dough as thinly as possible.
3. Dust each rolled dough circle before stacked.
●Cooking the Tortilla
1. Place the dough circle into a hot skillet. Cook for about 1 min.
2. Flip it over and then cook for about 30 sec.
3. Remove the cooked tortilla.
4. Repeat the steps to finish the rest of tortillas.
5. You can totally make 3 counts of 8 inch tortillas.
6. Enjoy!
