@@robbiep475 They are all good musicians, John Frusciante is a phenomenal guitarist, Flea is an exceptional bass player. The weak link for me is Anthony and the god awful lyrics he seems to make up just to fit into a song.

Ah yes! I used to have this on vhs and someone stole it. Was bummed about it for a long time. I actually got to meet chad and the rest of the peppers when they stayed at the hotel I was a bellman at, and I told him he I was a drummer and had his video, he was super nice and asked me to walk with him out to his bus and we chatted about drums and music for a little bit. Really cool guy.

@@Ewang2727 Not Chad himself. His Pearl kits back in the day sounded amazing to me because he used larger toms and his snare wasn't cranked up nearly as high as he likes it today. Chad has always been an amazing drummer. He's one of my favorites. I wasn't complaining about him as a drummer or saying he isn't talented.

I remember reading Anthony keidis' book when I was 13. He stated that when whoever (can't remember) suggested they get Chas smith to play drums for the band, it was because he would eat his drums for breakfast, haha. Chad is a groove monster!

I was hanging out in little five points in Atlanta several years ago after my bands rehearsal, we headed to Felinnis Pizza for grub and sitting there at the front of the restaurant was Dug Pinnick from Kings X and Mr. Smith just chillin’. @dwdrader I'm not sure. Where do you know the date from? In : Chad Smith: Red-Hot Bloopers! you see a date: 05/12/9(1or2). Blood Sugar Sex Magik came out in 1991. So I would say, because Chad Smith: Red-Hot Bloopers! I think it wasn't a jam (anymore).

It’s weird. I absolutely do not care for any of the Chili Peppers music, and find most of it pretty generic garbage even if the whole catalogue is pretty diverse, but I completely adore Chad Smith. Amazing fuckin drummer, that just keeps inspiring. Great on the spot groove like jesus christ.
