Dr. Frank, I found your story on regret very interesting, I never thought of it like that. Getting out of addiction is about that balance between self responsibility and accepting what is out of our control.

Hi there Dr Frank, I was wondering if you could make a video particularly on the topic of burnout. I say this as someone who has watched your content for a long time, and who is very thankful for it, yet despite knowing exactly what to do, I've found myself back to day 1 more than I can wish to fathom. It's a mind screw because if that was my case you'd think I'd be beyond this... I guess that's why I'm asking. ❤️

Did anyone else when quitting have really bad derealization and depersonalization bc i quit 2 days ago i had to go into the hospital for a couple days bc i was having stomach issues i was addicted to weed and nicotine before i went in and i kicked my nicotine addiction while i was in the hospital and havent been craving nicotine or to hit a nic stick so im thankful for that but after i came out of the hospital i was craving weed so i got a pen and hit it and had such a bad panic attack that i had to go get my mom and had to sit with her till i eventually passed out i smoked weed everyday from when i was 16 up until 2 days ago, after i had a panic attack i threw all my stuff away bc it was not what i was looking for it was not like when i first started smoking idk what i smoked but whatever it was, was not it and was not at all what i was looking for and it didnt make my head feel any better which i thought it would, it just feels like it made it worse, and it actually turned me off towards smoking weed, but my head feels so so so weird like nothing feels real i feel like im living in a dream world, my eyes and head feel all discombobulated and i feel disconnected from reality and it scares me a lot and im afraid my brain is never gonna go back to normal, i am also scared bc i lived the past 6 years of my life highed up so im afraid and have no idea what sober feels like i dont remember how i felt before i started smoking weed i dont remember what my life was like i dont remember what i was or who i was and im afraid for the future and finding out who sober me is, im not going back to weed bc i tried to go back and it wasnt it, wasnt what i was looking and im choosing to improve my life im choosing a better quality of life for myself but im scared that my head will never go back to normal even though idk what normal will be like since im going sober i have no idea what that normal is going to be like and that scares me. Can anyone that has gone through it help me and share there experience bc im afraid my head is never gonna go back to normal my mom and everyone around me tells me it will but im scared it wont

I used to be a chain smoker but it's been about 4&1/2 years now since I stopped smoking tobacco, I stopped smoking tobacco but still smoking cannabis but I'm approaching 20 months weed free, first stretch was 11 months smoked for three weeks and now it's been 9 months weed free. Occasionally smoke CBD flower just to see if it really helps with the depression and bi polar.

Hi again. This helps... but I've been at this a while, feel similar. What about the actual gut pain? The gut pain from stopping consuming or injesting nicotine or tobacco products... for me it's like a knife at my sternum or gut and my guts feel like their on fire unless I vape or smoke.

Hi frank. Can you give me advice please. I was a heavy vaper it was the first thing I did in the morning, last thing before bed it rarely left my hands. I started getting bad anxiety and panic attacks I was going to the hospital a lot getting the tests done X-rays everytbinf and always came back being healthy I’m only 21 years old now. I had quit for 2 years because of the panic attacks I was getting and I still get them but I learnt how to cope and understand when it is anxiety symptoms I’m getting (the heavy chest, shortness breathing etc..) but I recently have been getting my mind playing tricks on me telling me things such as, I’ve quit before I am mentally strong enough to do it again I can have it in moderation etc.. knowing in the back of my mind full well it will lead back to a relapse. I won’t sugar coat it been going through but of a rough time and I have kind of wanted to be going back to the vapes knowing full well I shouldn’t but I have been giving in and having them a few puffs here and there and it has been helping, I understand it is stupid and I feel like I’m getting scared that if I do get hooked I won’t be able to quit again like before and it’s making me kind of depressed

How do you get the people in your home to smoke somewhere. Not on the step or leave their smokes laying around. I have been trying to quit smoking for a year. I do very well but go through stages of I just want one but it leads to more. Then I get back down to one or zero and someone lights up. I have asked many times. I get told “ well you’re going to have to put up with it because smoking is everywhere “ my response is this is my house my safe space. If I go out in to the world then sure I might see smokers but please help out. Outta sight outta mind. I realize most of the smokes I smoked I never even needed .
