Started at 11, stopped at 22. 27 now and couldn’t be more proud. One of the hardest things I’ve done but I’m happy now that it’s done, and that’s what you have to remember is that there is an end point, you WILL feel better after feeling bad now as that is the sacrifice. CBD no nic cigarettes and CBD vapes helped a ton, cold turkey on nic otherwise. My advise would be Stop counting the days, if you decide in your mind to quit in full confidence, you quit period. Instead of counting, it is managing, until it is over, and it WILL be over. It always passes with time.

I quit vaping 3 days ago, and those withdrawal symptoms are no joke. I'd say first day and second were fine, peaking yesterday with insane mood swings, anxiety and a low mood. Fortunately I was able to spend the day in bed and sleep it off, woke up on day 4 feeling much better. Cravings are down, and mood more stable. Good luck to all those kicking vaping!

Hi!! I don't usually leave comments, but I just wanted to thank you for posting these videos. I quit vaping 4 months ago and I never thought I'd be able to kick the habit. It was HARD, let me tell you, but your videos genuinely helped me more than you know. I don't think I would've been able to do it without this channel. I learned so much about the science behind addiction and why my body craved the habit, as well as what to expect in the first few hours/days/weeks/months after quitting. My quality of life has improved drastically - mentally, spiritually, physically, etc. I feel so much better. I'm much more energetic, and now that the mood swings/irritability is gone I feel so much happier. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. These videos are amazing, keep up the great work. Doctor, I think a good video idea would be for you to interview people who have had health scares from vaping, or those who have successfully gone through a journey and have advice to share. Just an idea. Btw, I quit vaping 8 days ago and am currently on the lowest strength of nicotine patch each day, which is working really well. My lungs and throat already feel so much clearer. Breathing doesn't feel so hard any more. I can't wait to close this vaping chapter of my life and move on. Thanks for your advice.
@bchristian855 ай бұрын
Vaping is an off-ramp from cigarettes, but should not be used as a permanent replacement. I ended up having a cancer scare earlier this year because of vaping. It also was really affecting my lungs, moreso than tobacco cigarettes ever did. I only recommend vaping to someone struggling to quit regular cigs. Out of everything I've tried, it was the only thing that completely took away the tobacco cravings. Vape cravings were easier to manage when I quit compared to going from tobacco cigs.

Ive noticed my biggest issue is being bored. Going outside walking helps a lot but I can only walk so much before It starts causing issues with the rest of my body. If you are using walking to cope hitting 10k steps comes very easy. Vaping is less about nicotine and more about the habit in general. Its those times of not much going on that I would usually fill with hitting my vape are whats the hardest.
@Gnorde3 ай бұрын
Why I say its more habit and less about nicotine at least for me is because I would vape the same amount even if i lowered my nicotine down to 1mg or less. Vaped the same amount. 3mg or 1mg didn't matter other then I did notice I felt better the lower the nicotine which is expected. Tried vaping 0mg but found the act of vaping with no nicotine at all made things much worse.

But I can say being active 100% is the way to go to really stick with it. For me its the ONLY thing that works. Its just hard to be active all the time.

Watching your videos are so encouraging, although it's a bit daunting to think that I'm going to feel worse around day 3. I like to frame it in the light that I've been through much worse than this. I've survived multiple surgery's, overcame Pericarditis, and other ailments that are probably much worse than mere Nicotine withdrawal. If I can do that, this should be a simple nuisance in comparison. I don't know if that's true, but it felt better to say! haha. Thanks for the work you do.

It depends if your life is seriously causing these things on its own without the niccotine withdrawal. Three days ago I saw my consultant to talk about my recent CT lung scan. He and his team couldn’t make out what the multiple tiny dots were on both lungs. He asked if I smoked and I said no but I vape, he immediately said “Oh you vape?” And looked slightly concerned. He said they are seeing lung scans with vapers that they haven’t seen before - mine was one of those. I haven’t picked up a vape since that appointment and have no desire to because I’d had lung surgery last February and half my right lung removed but I had always stated I vaped, even to my surgeon and no one seemed concerned. I am cheating a bit with the nicotine and am chewing nicotine gum but I intend to give that up too - one step at a time although the gum won’t affect my lungs. Scary stuff and maybe they should scan vapers lungs for more insight - mine being seen because here in the UK we are offered lung screening once past the age of 55 at no cost because it’s on the NHS.

I’m 95 days in and I still feel sluggish at times. When exactly will it stabilize or a good estimate
@VenomRoadRacing4 ай бұрын
.... obviously there's more in life to have good energy and not be sluggish than just smoking or vaping.... look at your diet. Use a calculator and find out how many calories you should be having.... get consistent sleep etc. You can't just stop vaping and expect to feel great if you are ignoring everything else that could cause you to feel that way

I gave up ciggies with vaping. I have great appetite and much better complexion. Now I'm on zyn. My oxygen is 99. I saw nicotine helps with treatment with dementia. Yes money is definitely the most probable the biggest plus. Vaping prices are ridiculously high. The nicotine monster is a drug used by government to get tax, like alcohol.
