I loved the flowing movements of Day 6, really getting the blood circulated, with the added bonus of feeling warm on this cool morning, as we begin to move into winter weather. Thank you Carol. It is has been such a joy, with the help of steriods and your wonderful, gently, mindful stretches to experience my body opening and softening again.)

Love this one with the twists! I did 5 practices in a row. Love it, because it gets me into stretches I need for the muscles I do not stretch often enough. I like the slow pace, and focusing inward, and the space of time! This is so good for me!! I am very grateful for finding your channel this morning!

Day 6 felt great, too. I love that this is building toward a “full” yoga workout … I assume even with standing we’ll still be avoiding going down on our knees which is bad for my arthritis. In a variety of classes it seems that modified knee work and child’s pose are considered no problem at the easy level. However they are the death of ne even though I still want some good stretches and even heart work. Thank you! Looking forward to growing in this again after all these years.

Day 6✅WiFi has been down due to cold weather. Even cell data is having trouble. I challenged myself to hold the poses while it was intermittently loading. Worked out great!🥳💜🙏🏽

Adding this chair yoga to my morning routine has been such a gift. I am doing yoga in a bigger body. The only trouble I’m having is in forward bends. My belly is really in the way. Any ideas how I could approach them a little differently?

Yea! I'm so glad that you're adding Bottoms Down chair yoga to your morning routine. What about taking your feet and legs wide. Then as you forward fold, you have space between your knees for your upper body. Give that a try and see what you think. Keep coming back!

Welcome! So glad you've joined the Bottoms Down community. The modification for bending forward is to put your forearms on your thighs and let your heart/chest fall forward, keeping your back flat. Cross at your ankles instead of legs. Way to go and keep up the great work! We all just do what we can do.
