With UTMB week just around the corner, I hope everyone is getting super excited about their big race experience! We thought it would be perfect timing to put together a comprehensive guide to Chamonix town over UTMB week. We tried to cover all the aspects we feel can be useful when staying in town over the week, especially if it's your first time in Chamonix. Loyd. For your info, you can buy that sticky bandage in the UK easily. Most equestrian shops stock them. They are known as vet wrap. Cost just over a pound

It was back in 2015 when I was struggling to find it Roland and not sure I would have thought to go to an equestrian shop? 😂 I think it's a lot easier to get hold of it now in the UK but like I said in the video all the Pharmacy in Chamonix have lots of stock, incase you don't have an equestrian shop near by 👍

That’s a handy tip Roland, wouldn’t have known that but I often take it mountain biking too so I’ll keep that in mind as I’ve noticed some pharmacys in the UK still don’t sell it.

As a french person living in the UK I struggle so much to find bandage/tape idk why they don't have it in pharmacies. I always do a massive stock when I'm back to France :)

Great idea for a video and really useful 👍…. Re your comment about difficulty in finding the elasticated bandage, they are widely used in the horse world so just pop into your local equestrian supplier 👍

Hey Loyd ...great idea and job for that guide about Chamonix ...really usefull for those who will come for UTMB or just for vacation ... did you get a storm in Chamonix yesterday..because i drove back home yesterday from South french riviera and it was a nightmare near Lyon ...200kms of storm with no visibility (60/80km/h max on the highway) with a big crash 😱🤪...but hopefully we re back home safe...good luck for your TDS ...can't wait for some new foutages about Chamonix and the races ...next year ➡️ the Alpes lol 👏👏👏😜🇫🇷
