Please do some searching on BCM-95 curcumin, andrographis and grape seed extract. City of Hope in Los Angeles, Dr Ajay Goel has some impressive research in regards to specifically colon cancer, in combination with chemotherapy (5fu) and how it helps. Our love and prayers are with your family Chandler! For what is worth, my father was diagnosed with both prostate and kidney cancer and they gave him a year. He decided not to do chemo but rather to radically reboot his diet (remove processed foods, sugar, among other things) and both of his cancers went into remission and have been stable for the last 10 years. I know many people discount diet in treating cancer but definitely something to consider as it's also something you can directly control in the chaos. ❤️

We bought our 1st property in March. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May. Had a double mastectomy in July. Bought our second property in September and then I started radiation and hormone therapy. I was putting steroid cream on my radiation burns while listening to this😬. My mom just beat breast cancer. Her tumor seemed huge. I had zero hope even tho my brother and family did. It's scary, it seems like a death sentence but its not always. Never lose hope and trust in God. 2 years ago I thought by now my mom would be gone but she's here and everything seems to be going as great as it possibly can. Don't lose hope and don't let cancer ruin your life. I felt all the same things you did about seeing things different, thinking it's not fair, and wanting to help. Hopefully you can find a way to help people. That's a blessing to people and God will see that and bless you even more than you're already blessed. When a loved one has cancer it can be very hard to think of tomorrow. Just take each day as it comes. My 3 year old daughter had a stage 3 neuroblastoma tumour. She’s made a full recovery and is now 14 years old. I did my best to stay strong for her and my wife, but my anger did getting the better of me sometimes and I took it out on complete strangers. I commend you for being open and talking about this. My mistake was I kept it all bottled up.

This is absolutely heartbreaking to watch. The pain in your voice and face are palpable. Very scary stuff considering you are around my age and how quickly things can go from being fine to this. Not getting to hung up on the little things. She also changed her diet and eliminated meat, dairy and sugar. Since then she has had a clean bill of health. You all will make it through this. Hey chandler a really good book on the subject is, "the cancer code by Dr Jason fung" he explains the history and the current best treatments (look into 3 day fasting when doing chemo, studies show that at the 3 day mark, authophagy kicks in and can help the body protect the organs from chemo and let's the chemo attack the cancer cells) anyways hope it helps

Hey Chandler - I can’t imagine having two of the closest people in my life go thru this at the same time. I too am very close with my sister and feel the pain in your voice when you speak about your brother and wife. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in June. She has smoked heavily over 20 years but actually quit 3 years ago after losing 120lbs as well and was in the healthiest shape she had ever been. It felt very cruel to get a diagnosis after all of her hard work to turn her life around. Crazy enough her surgery was successful and so far so good. I know you mentioned you want to be able to control some aspect of this experience and sadly, it’s out of our hands. I know some people turn to certain diets when diagnosed with cancer that they have said helped. My only advice from my experience is to cry when you need to cry Hold your wife more often. Hug your brother more often. Stay optimistic while also being prepared for the worst. One of my favorite moments that came after my moms diagnosis was talking about the after life with her. It was something I didn’t give much thought in regards to her before because I didn’t think I’d be facing losing her so soon as a young adult. Knowing what her wishes were should things head that way put me at ease. Also being able to cry with her(a few times) was healing. I’ve just learned to count the little moments. Thank you for sharing your family journey with Cancer. I myself was diagnosed with late state 3 colon cancer as well. I had colon resection and chemotherapy and oral chemo. For 8 rounds of infusion and oral chemo for 8 months. I was 49 years old with 6 out 15 positive lymph nodes. With prayers Gods and lots of family and friend support. I am now in remission for two years. Stay positive and ask lots of questions be informed. I did the xeloda and oxaliplatin chemotherapy combination. Their is also the folfox for colon cancer. Do your research especially with your your oncologist and your treatment team. Know that God is above everything and a great positive outlook and being strong and open goes a long way. I will keep all your family and prayers and know your not alone and all of this will be over. One day at a time. God bless you

My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer about six years ago. After surgery, chemo and radiation over a couple years she is approaching 5 years cancer free. I wish you and your family the best! Also, there are recipes for a tea like concoction consisting of dandelion root, milk thistle, real cranberry juice and a few other ingredients that are good for helping the body clean out the chemo after each treatment.
