I was a part of this film in a very small way. Sharon Wright was, at the time, a model and actress living and working in Kansas City. As a photographer, I worked with models and actresses and had photographed Sharon for her book (portfolio). When she got ready to do this movie, she asked me to shoot the still photos of behind the scenes. I had no idea of the content of the movie or what would take place but, as I soon found out, it turned out to be quite a production for her first film and a great insight for me as to what it entails to make a movie. Nothing was shot in sequence so it's hard to get a good feel for the end product until it's been edited and music added to it so when I saw the completed version, I knew Sharon had hit a home run and was proud to have been a part of what went down over the 2 days of shooting this.

I have family members who have experience with movie and news productions. I'm curious if your lack of knowing what the final product was to be like had any affect/effect or lack thereof on this short film. Just get the shots and the editors will decide from then on. Great work BTW. - some guy In KCMO

short films like this have reminded me to keep an extra pair of good socks, a day pass, and matches in my purse, it's been good from the perspective of having something to offer. I get big bags of turkey jerky pieces in bulk and trail mixes at the grocery outlet store and put some in zippered sandwich bags to have with me to give out when I remember. When I was unemployed I'd regularly find a food distribution center/food bank to help stretch my savings and any unemployment $; it's humbling but helped me remember to give back. So thank you if you've ever donated your time and money to others.

What's amazing about this film, is that it shows how small acts of kindness can be helpful; but being keen enough to notice where and who needs that help. As if Ms. Wright were saying it's one thing to blindly just throw money at some beggar (fake?) along some freeway exit. But another to know where the help is really needed. Kindness can be taken advantage of. :-/ (ps - held the crying until he gave the girl change to call her mom.) {sniff}

I was behind an elderly woman who strted to put things back as she could only afford a certain amount.. I mentioned there was too much month left..she told me she was a sub teachers and only had a small pension.. I told the cashier to put what she didn't take on my bill and it was only 12/00 bucks but just regular stuff.. I was making good money then and to me it was nothing.. when I got outside this elderly lady was waiting and asked if she could give me a hug.. it was all I could o not to let her see my tears... do something nice for another just for the heck of it.... in 2012 I had an accident taking the ditch with my truck to avoid killing 3 people, broke my back but am still alive... do good while you can..............

You never know how you impact people. A simple smile can change a grumpy person's mood. I hear from former students (post-secondary) occaisionally and some of them I have trouble remembering (30 + years of teaching). They tell me a story about how something I said or did affected them and I'm always shocked at the impact. This is a perfect film that speaks a ton with the wisdom of all the ages.

Undoubtedly, the man in the film is an Angel - Many have entertained Angels...
