How did you manage to describe every size on everything but the oil filter wrench cap. Because I tried a 74 mm would it 15 flutes and it didn't fit so now I just bought a 74 mm with a 14 flu but I'm not sure if it's a 73 mm so that would have been very helpful and one of the most important things you fell Dimension brotha

76 mm 14 flute is the proper wrench size for the oil filter cap on the 2007 Ford Fusion with the 2.5L L4 duratec engine. I know because I bought and used one today.

Nope completely different takes motorcraft filter FL820 spin on type and takes 5.5 qts.

+Hi Anthony Pusateri thank you for your comment Paul is right the V6 uses a spin on type filter not the cartridge type. Although the 3.0 liter V6 has an oil capacity of 6 quarts (including the filter). The torque is 19 ft lbs on the drain bolt. Thank you and check back in I plan on posting some more videos soon.

Anthony Pusateri That V6 has a problem with expensive oil leaks, if you have over 100,000 miles I'd sell it. The older Mazda 6 use the same V6 and have the same problem.

Motor City Man just about to hit 144,000 miles and haven’t experienced any leaking yet, but she does seem to be burning some oil. Oh well what can you do, it’s a pretty cheap and reliable car. Planning on driving her into the ground! Lol

You should have told us what ti use ti to drain the filter housing. A 3/8* Drive ratchet? A allen wrench i couldn't tell what you need. Ya im knit picking. But there is a comment section below so i left a comment

He covered that. The 8mm Allen wrench would remove the drain plug in the filer housing. He said he skipped that part and removed the housing without draining it first. The ratchet was for the 13mm socket to remove the oil pan drain plug. Maybe you shouldn't be working on cars.

Hello Joe, I didn't show removing the filter drain plug o ring in this video because my little drain plug has a crack on it and when I remove it and reinstall a new o ring it ends up leaking sometimes so lately I have just been unscrewing the housing until I end up buying a new one. Thank you

Hi Bobby the filters are not interchangeable that I am aware of. The cartridge filters are made for the 4 cylinder engine and the canister filter is made for the 6 cylinder engine good luck.

I work at an oil change and we only replace gaskets on plugs if they look bad or are leaking most cars that come we reuse them .shit ive had cars come in at least 20 times and never changed the plug gasket and never had a problem
