Happy, Happy Birthday! OMG! Love me some Key West! Next time we go, it'll be in our GD fifth wheel, so knowing that Boyd's RV Resort will help with the backing in just gave me a huge peace of mind. That is one cool ass "move thingy" gadget for towing around such a BIG toy hauler. LOL! Love it! Last time we were in the Keys, Blue Heaven was our go to for breakfast. I still day dream about the Heavenly Eggs Benedict at least once a day. Will have to try the surf and turf next time. I only got the lobster, and also tried the crab. Sooooo gooooood! Funny that you mentioned all the chickens. When we had visited, I guess it was baby time because there were so many chicken families everywhere. It was a cockadoodle hoot for sure. We also saw quite a few iguana's as well. Thanks for showing us a great time in Key West and for bringing back some wonderful memories for us. LOL! The garbage truck blooper cracked me up. @@ChangingLanes I was in BEFORE you!!! Ike sailor from 79-82. I remember the yellow gear would pick up the nose wheels of the aircraft and then move it to wherever they needed it, with spotters (blue shirts) watching for clearance. I'll post a pic on FaceBook for you.

Looks kind of close to the dump station and fish table however, if the wind came from the water, good luck to those on Tarpon St. The POS nurse who put that needle in should be out of work. No one should sustain a bruise from any needle if they know what they are doing. Take that out on the bill when you get it and if paying personally, tell them you will pay 30% or 40% because most bills are inflated for insurance claims. Love the little pool house...

Fist off you young whipper snapper being 50 years old doesn't put you in the Geezer club, heck I'm 64 and I can't even apply yet. But seriously, you folks brought back some good memories. I was there in 1978 with a buddy of mine sleeping in my car with my English Setter, next I took my Royal Enfield (which by the way I still have) in 1981 I think it was and stayed at Leo's campground on Stock Island. I'm still looking for my Head ski goggles l lost on US-1 somewhere south of Marathon Key. I've been there a couple of times since once on business and once with my wife on my Ultra. Good times all. We've never stayed at Courtney's with the bike, but I did park it there for a bit. I can't say for sure, but I don't see why they'd have an issue with motorcycles. Certainly easier to park.. 😊

That was a great Video! We were also just in the Keys looking at RV parks for the future. (First week of April) LOL...we waited in line for the silly picture at the southern most bouy as well. We looked at Key Palms and then off to Sunshine Key RV. Then last stop was the Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge and RV park. We took your recommendation from a previus video video and stopped at Robbies...not once but twice. Thanks for all the great videos...Glad Tara is feeling better, and Happy Birthday to you.

@@ChangingLanes I have been riding street bikes since I was 14 (1974), mostly Honda but also Yamaha and Kawasaki. So now that I'm old (LoL) I like the older bikes and have a 86 Honda Shadow 1100 that I ride and I bought a 85 Honda GoldWing (Limited Edition, 10th Annv. Model) a few years ago that came with a sidecar and rode with it attached for a while, you get plenty of looks but it's not the easiest to ride. This model came with electronic cruise control, fuel injection, trip computer, air shocks with built in air compressor, stereo with built in surround sound and a CB radio, which was unheard of in 1985!! I am hoping to retire in a couple years and the wife and I hope to join the RV life, just can't decide if we want a 5th wheel or Class A. I have started watching all the KZbin RV videos and discovered you guys. Y'all do a great job!

We originally wanted a Class A... Our decision to buy a fifth wheel toy hauler over a class A diesel pusher was primarily economic precipitated by weight. Bringing Lucile was a MUST. She weighs about 950lbs with fuel. Since we didn't want to deal with a trailer (and we wanted to flat tow a daily driver), we were looking at lift systems (like Hydralift). When you do the math on a 950lbs motorcycle plus a 400lb lift and factor in leverage based on the average distance from the rear axle to the bumper, it adds around 2000lbs to the rear axle. That put us in tag-axle territory, which starts getting WAY up in price. So, we had a choice between waiting another year to save more money, or investigating a plan B. So, we started looking at toy hauler options. The only Class A toy hauler we found was a Gas model by Thor. Nope. The more we looked at fifth wheel toy haulers the more we realized that it maybe should have been our Plan A all along. A lot more living space when converting the garage to an office / guest suite, two full baths, kitchen with island, etc. And the financial aspect fit too. Class A option: Minimum 300K rig (tag axle) plus 30K daily driver plus around 10K for the lift, braking system, tow system, etc (340K minimum). Fiver TH option: 60K Truck plus 90K rig (150K) AND we get more living space. That was an option we could fit in our budget and timeline.

Hey Chad and Tara! My fiancé and I recently purchased a 1995 Sunline Soltice 21 FT. It’s definitely not anywhere near as gorgeous as your rig but maybe someday. I’ve taken it upon myself to fix it up (new flooring, staining cabinets, etc). I served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 10 years before I got injured so I have lots of time on my hands. I love watching your videos as they keep me excited for our camper travels ahead. Might have to tour into the States (Yep I’m up in cold Canada) but have a family home in Labelle Florida.
