It's dark absurdism taken to a near-offensive level, but somehow beautifully skates around the edge of being appalling due to how utterly absurd the scenario is. Not to everyone's taste, admittedly, but we british are a very perculiar bunch. Another good example is Joe's penis-naming poem- i don't think kathryn (the token foreigner) really understand why everyone else were falling over with hysterics.

Dylzhaar It also goes a bit Latka Gravas; a character from the late 70’s/80’s sitcom ‘Taxi’, who was played by the late, great Andy Kaufman. It’s a bit of an obscure reference, I know; but, every time I watch the clip of Greg Davies doing that impression, that’s all I can think of haha. I remember watching the episode when it first aired: I nearly coughed up a lung laughing at it. I had to pause the show, because I was wheezing so much, and I could barely barely breathe haha. This show has done that to me a lot, over the years. 😀
