Comics: Wisecracking mercenary who takes *orders* from no one. Movie: Mine manipulated slave with a fused mouth. Completely silent. Comics: Fights with katanas and guns primarily. Movie: Fights with pseudo-wolverine claws, Cyclop's laser, martial arts and teleportation. Comics: Mutant power is his healing factor. Movie: No apparent mutation of his own. Has a healing factor stolen from Wolverine (bet the real Deadpool would *love* to know his power was completely dependent on Wolverine) in addition to several other stolen mutations. Deadpool: pretty much unkillable. Movie: Died in his first fight. Conclusion: Other than some sweet moves and a bit of quipping and sword fighting in his pre-Deadpool state, he has nothing in common. I think I can be forgiven for missing that point initially.

You guys should do an X-Month 2! I’ve really enjoyed you guys going through the X-Men movies and I would love to see you go through the newer ones, and maybe even the Deadpool franchise

I wish this movie had been about them fighting in all the wars. Occasionally running into Ancestors of other Mutants.

Liev Schrieber wasn't terrible. He's a good actor.

@@bromodragone8405 Nah. He's good as Kingpin, but not as good as De Nofrio or as memorable as Clarke Douglas. He just has the benefit of being in a great movie.

Can't wait for "Dora the Explorer" and "Angry Birds 2" review. I hope they don't bash their heads too much.
@motodog2425 жыл бұрын
Ok, Dora's going to be fucking awesome, lol. Hate to say the cliche, but, it's a Nick film, so I expect utter shit compared to a triple A film, but the trailer makes me think that its basically a Lara Croft parody hidden behind Dora.
@mentaya115 жыл бұрын
I thought the very *idea* of a Dora movie was asinine. Last weekend I saw the trailer and....I really think I'm going to go see it. It still doesn't look *good*, but the self referential nature and the bizarreness of the premise has me anticipating laughing my head off at a bizarrely bad movie. And who know? Maybe I'll get lucky and it will be bizarre and *good*!"

Don't forget, they actually released it with TWO DIFFERENT POST-CREDIT ENDINGS depending on which theater you saw it at. And then added them together for the DVD version.

Unpopular opinion: X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a guilty pleasure of mine and I think it is fun to watch. It’s NOT a good movie, but it’s a fun watch

Great first viewing. One little tidbit of information I can give is that the blonde nurse who worked with Stryker? She's actually a very well known Australian TV actress called Asher Keddie. She's best known for a TV show called Offspring, which finished a few years ago. I only realised it when I saw the last part of the film on TV a few years ago. Funny how life works :) Keep up the great videos :)

11:35 Me after reading the How to Train Your Dragon Artbook. They were going to faithfully adapt the book and possibly the series but rejected doing cause it wasn't mature or edgy enough. (Yeah' like the cannibal psycho sea dragon talking about pulling out human spines and his darkly philosophic views on how we'll all be supper eventually was soooo kid-friendly!) Still like this movie more than that franchise.

10:18 - 10:48 It's even worse than that. The Three Mile Island accident was an actual real historical event, it's cited as the worst nuclear power plant accident in US history. Considering how publicized and remembered that event was, you'd think that would make it even easier for Logan and Xavier to remember it and realize that they were both there.

I had a theory that the twist was going to be that Logan was tasked with killing Professor X. The memory loss was purposefully designed so his mind could not be read
@TabbyeLynne5 жыл бұрын
Winch is what happens in the comics, Wolverine is sent from Canada to kill the professor and the professor wipes his mind of that memory and replaces it with a fake memory of Logan meeting him in Canada, being inspired by the professor's dream of peaceful coexistence with humans and joining the cause, eventually following the professor to the school, it would have make for a better movie

Well even in tas X-Men it's more than hinted at that Xavier knows what happened, but chose not to tell him. I think Magneto even references Xavier keeping him on a leash in the 3 old movies
