Not too relevant, but on the 2nd last turn of the last game, you did actually have lethal with Emry->Lotus, Deluge for 2, Fumarole, attack for exactly lethal with a 4/1 Fumarole and a 3/1 Golem

just finished the draft itself: nice deck; there was also an insane reanimator deck in your seat; why did you pick the battlesphere over tezzeret? you already had good ramp targets and with both monolith's tezzeret seems incredible for this deck - both as an accelerant, tutor and finisher

Love your content. I learn so much from you and you are just fun to watch. I think you had lethal a turn earlier in last game of third match. Toxic away chup for 2...and activate fumarole, attack with golem and fumarole. I believe would have worked.

imho, Wildfire is much stronger than memory jar (or lingering souls), and MonoBrown doesn't get color-screwed, since playing several basic mountains won't keep you from playing colorless cards, which are the majority of the deck.

the hate on academy ruins surprised me I get the point about getting back you big things, but you also had lotus, solemn, and hangarback all of which are insane to recall. plus the ability to get back your sol ring after it definitely eats every artifact removal in the cube.

PSA: Always tap your basalt monolith for mana. You can always untap it later that turn for 3 mana and not lose anything, but you get extra flexibility.
