Same here. I am 46, woman and always thought as teens too by others. What I did? Eat lots when I was younger till 35. At 35, started drinking 4 liters a day. So a glass per hour if cr is accessible. Also, at 35, started reducing eating junk food to 80% daily. And started eating LOTS of fruits instead. Hehe Lessened foods of oily salty, sweets, processed and packaged foods to 60%. Since 30 yo lessened meat diet to 70% daily. Either fish or chicken or seafoods. At 30, started exercise, yoga twice a week. Never smoke. Rarely drinks alcohol. Seldom uses makeup. Enjoy. No rush to follow any of these. But the body will tell you clearly when. Especially if hospital care is needed or family member experienced body deterioration badly. One quick solution. Never eat by psychologically. Instead in full awareness of what you are eating. Or resolution actions to compensate by exercise and lots of hydration. PS. My dad passed away from Colon Cancer Stage 4 at 64. So i read tons of health journals 7 years ago.

So true, calorie deficit. I live in Washington, DC, 56 yrs old, black American male, work out every day, close to 1 1/2 hours. I look to be in my mid 30's. My winter weight at 5'9" 134 - 135 lbs., but slim athletic fit. I often look at my old work photo from in 92', 23 yrs old and was fat, 180+ pounds and can't believe the way I looked. I was over eating BIG TIME. 😲 I have a certain eating routine, juice every other day, no smoking, don't drink alcohol no sodas, and cook mainly at home, daily multivitamins. I do have my daily McDonald's coffee, sugar with cream. I eat really simple now; Tue - Sat, my main dinner portion is bowl of cereal (Honey Nut Cheerios right now) with almond milk. Trying out the original Cheerios with no sugar to see if I like it. Sun - Mon, I'll eat breaded chicken strips Tyson's really good, salad, maybe frozen pizza (Screamin Sicilian pizza so good!) and other simple foods. Not the Wendy's triple cheese burger with large fries, large shake, large chili with cheese, for example, and all that Popeye's chicken with biscuit, fries, red beans and rice. That's a lot of calories. But eating fast foods in moderation and working out, I fell, you can still stay on track with weight. Just don't over indulge or eat them too often too much. But I'm very disciple in my eating routine, snack in moderation. My routine is now part of my lifestyle like brushing my teeth is part of my daily health routine. 💪🏼

The secret is Asians on not to age fast: -drinking green tea every day, it contains antioxidants which will fight of radicals. -Put sunscreen on face and neck every day even in winter in order to prevent early wrinkles. In winter the sun still shines! -Avoid the sun when possible by wearing a (sun)hat or using an umbrella against the sun rays(in east Asia you’ll see many umbrellas on sunny days). -Do some kind of martial arts such as Tai chi(not really fighting, it has a yoga vibe) to keep your body young. Drink enough water every day(2 liters on average depending on your gender and body type) -sleep at least 7 hours a day. Sleep is where your body and brain are regenerating and resting. - live a happy, non stressful life. Stop trying to stress. Go with the flow. Do Tai Chi to get rest, or go to church on Sunday to rest and to not stress. You don’t have to be Christian to go to church. Many atheïst go to church just so they can rest and be with their own minds. And you can learn more about life by listening to the Bible story. Sunday= relax day.

Americans get super aggressive when you tell them you don’t want to drink. And they constantly remind you that you’re missing out. It’s so ingrained in the culture. It’s like going to church and saying you don’t like Jesus!

@@Andrew-zr9tc You must have never attended American college. Not drinking is like not liking Jesus at church! They find it super offensive. They can’t just enjoy their drink, they have to get you to join them like a cult. It’s something that is really not talked about.

I am 30 years old and i look like a 30 years old... my secret is eating once a day
@mhm8922 Жыл бұрын
I will not deny that what one eats and does makes a difference, but genetics has a lot to do with it. Especially if he is a descendant of people who were very particular of what they ate and did. There’s no silver bullet, but it’s never too late to take your health and well bring in hand to live a better life.

It is not just work out, it is not about food, it is about the genes, I am 52 and everybody say that I am 37 lets say, but I dont smoke, dont use make up, I am cheerful person trying to enjoy my every moment...
