MV Agusta's simply a piece of art. I saw a video where a guy asked one of Superveloce's designer why they engraved logo of MV Agusta on the bottom of the oil pan , where no one can to see it. The answer was " What do you mean why ? It's MV Agusta ! "

My dad has the '15 version of the Turismo Veloce and it's pretty much 95% the same bike. I can't even count how many head turns this bike causes! It has great mileage and it's so comfortable from a second passenger. Yes it got some 'character' but with 50k km's it didn't cause any big headache. I'll say from experience is kinda an unicorn. My dad want's to sell the bike for something different but still exotic and unique but is very hard to find something like the TV or even better. Yes it's pricey from the showroom floor but it's so worth it: sound, style, comfortable, fun, nimble and unique. Great video and cheers!

Last year, I rode the Turismo Velocer from Vladivostok, Russia, via Eastern Europe to Varese, Italy, covering about 25,000 km for four months. For the first time in the history of MV Agusta, the bikes they exported returned by land. The durability of the MV Agusta may be lower than BMW or Japanese bikes, but I don't think there will be a problem if you ride it for less than 30,000 km in a short period of time. Trust me there are no bad bikes these days.

I just got my leftover 21’ MV TV Rosso for a steal at EuroCycle in Las Vegas and had it shipped out to me in NY by HaulBikes. Could not be happier with it. Such a high quality suspension and it’s deceptively fast! It handles better than any bike I’ve ever owned and I’m so glad KTM/The Pierer Group took over operations for MV in North America now! They have a 25.1% interest in the company now too which has already helped with the supply chain mgmt of parts for Mv’s. Nice engine too but I will say, my old Triumph Street Triple 675 and 765 engines were better though. Still a “ Macchina bella” or as I call her, my Goomah!😊
@GFDawnPatrol5 ай бұрын
Same! I picked up my Euro4 2020 TV Rosso (base) and added bags, center stand and clear clutch pressure looking glass just to watch the engine run backwards. I love the way it looks and now the bags make it my #1 choice daily driver/rider. Parts under KTM are easy to get. I looked at Duc and Guzzi ADV and sport bikes. The ADV bars are too wide and too forward. The street bikes puts the rider in a head down position.. terrible for riding in traffic! The MV bike is made for every day riding. Comfortable quick and beautiful. What more do you want (from your bike)?

I have this bike for 2 years. She's in 15000km. I changed stock exhaust to mv titanium and now sounds greater than other acropovic systems. Bike has 1 major issue, front suspension is a little bit in soft side and sometimes she's head shaking (not like tank slapper) over 200km/s when I hard accerelate. No matter where I go to fine tune, any garage couldn't helped me. for 2 years, only broken thing is quickshifter and tail licence plate led which fixed under guarantee. The funny thing is MV is the most popular and biggest store and service and cheaper brand in my country It's cheaper than yamaha and honda and has 4 years/(100.000 km) guarantee. And last thing I can add it's reliable than KTMs

Great review, shame you did not have a version with the cases, I heard they are the especially designed cases to not portrude more than your handlebars so they are great for filtering in traffic as well. Also its funny to see how taste differs on sound. I have the Superveloce 800, so I guess there might be some difference because of the different tune and exhaust but I think it sounds amazing. Granted not in neutral standing still, it sounds like something is broken and there is too much friction. But under load, accelerating and shifting up with the QS? Sounds heavenly to me.

I suppose for most italian bike owners you are probably going to be either a ducati or an mv owner, seldom both (of course these days Aprilia is not really a consideration at the southern tip of africa, nor is moto guzzi any more). I'm a ducati owner (two of them), so it's not as if I was going to rush out and buy an mv, but your videos are so entertaining I watched the whole thing anyway. Not quite in the league of the fort9 commenters who say "I've never owned a bike but your videos are amazing" but still pretty damn good :) I had to look up the weight - that was a real surprise. According to MCN it weighs the same as my 1260 multi (210kg) - for an 800, that's pretty heavy. No wonder you didn't find the 110 hp very exciting. 82Nm is good for an 800, but the weight will handicap that as well.

I love MV as a brand, I recently transitioned from my F3 RC (BIG MISTAKE) to an ZX6R 2024 (nice bike but not an MV). Only reason for this was that even though I had a special edition bike, none of the UK dealers seemed to interested in offering a good P/X value against the brand new F3RR (my next bike once I get bored of the ZX6R). There is no major concerns with it's reliability unlike some would say, I rode it many miles and had zero issues - many long trips. Only thing was holding me back from riding it more, British weather aside - was devaluing it, sadly that plays into your mind when you own an MV - If I ride it too much, the value will be almost nothing. Resale on these is difficult, objectively you would need to know this is a bike you will keep for a long time. I miss my MV.. :D

Overpriced cluncky machinery covered in nice red plastic to detract from the reality. The dashboard and switchgear are rubbish if not intuitive and on a tourer, one needs a bigger tft screen for ckear information on all weathers. Apparently your ccomment was deleted while I was writing my answer but to answer the question. KTM originally bought 25.1% in November 2022 and added another 25% this month. That said KTM has no intentions of changing MV Agusta's motorcycle and will help expand the company by giving them access to their resource suppliers and selling MVs through certain KTM dealers to get a bigger dealer network making it easier for potential and existing clients to get their hands on a new bike, parts or certified mechanics. For now their deal only benefits MV Agusta because they can sell more motorcycles easier without having to change anything themselves
@MarissaTheMuse9 ай бұрын
@@robinv2758 I suspect we will see higher prices or lower quality unfortunately. But the dealer/support network is a big deal. Ideally they’d sell extended warranties too. I deleted my comment when I got the section of the video where he answered when MV was purchased. Thank god it wasn’t by some Chinese company. example for example and R.E. Although the Indian made KTM’s are concerning to me. Mv would never do that but KTM and bmw both have. Better than China I suppose. I’m at the point I want some options from mv and Ducati that are still made like tanks. Metal components everywhere. Idc if it’s heavier. There’s a market for that pure analog and mechanical metal masterpiece. I adore the more modern 90s to present Ducati…but a couple Ducatis in particular, one older and one a retro revival situation, have made me really thirst for that. I mean big beefy frames and even the windshield cowl and mirror stalks are all made of the same painted body color aluminum. I was going to buy either an F3 800, a Brutale 800 RC, or a Super Veloce 800…but when I saw this out of Ducati’s recently i really fell for them and can’t help but worry it may be a point in my life where I will look back in the future and wonder why I bought a corvette or Ferrari 360 etc instead of a SL gullwing or GT40 or GT or bmw 504 or bmw z8, or Carrera GT even …any of those cars that not just skyrocket in value but people start to realize how special they were and you wish you’d bought one instead of a 911 for same price.

Please, learn yourself, before teaching and explaining with the face of an expert. Because of this, and constant 100k+ channels saying about wheels - these myths about motorcycles are alive.
