How QUICKLY Can You Complete Professor Oak's Challenge in Pokemon Renegade Platinum? (2/2)

It's time for yet another ROM Hack Oak Challenge! I haven't actually tried doing this since Blue Kaizo, and since I'm not interested in touching Gen 2 with a 10 foot pole for a few more months outside of the PokeWalker POC, I figured a Gen 4 ROM hack with such hype behind it like Renegade Platinum would be the best bet. In the solaceon town daycare you can go to the right and there’s a cowgirl who will give you ev training items and allow you to grind XP and EVs it would save tons of time grinding

Have you ever done a randomized professor oaks challenge the easiest is oras because you can see all of the pokemon on the route I'm doing one of black 2 and of course dritini and duskskull are in pre badge one. Thankfully lilpup is also there so I can use pickup

This is a really cool idea! I would love to try this. Also with the Universal Pokemon Randomizer you can print out a log of your randomizer, yeah this kinda defeats the surprise of the run, but you can have an idea of what you need to get during each section. Anyway amazing idea! I am totally gonna try this! Edit: If you're not allowed to look at the randomizer logs feel free to let me know. I am not really sure in a randomizer PoC.

When he was talking about catching moltres taking longer it reminded me when I was playing pokemon light platinum it took me over 300! Pokeballs and around 4 hours to catch dialga at 1! Hp and paralysed. Even arceus was easier since it just took me 3 f-ing ultra balls to catch it at around 40 frickin hp without a single status

You got lucky with those legendary catches, sheesh. The hoenn regis in the crown tundra in shield gave me a run for my money, I easily wasted 150+ dusk/ultra balls on them. Thankfully regieleki wasn't much of a hassle since I got REALLY lucky and caught it in a quick ball (which, might I add, is a very appropriate ball for it lol)

There's actually a ton of different things in this game compared to the original D/P/Pt, I'd highly suggest still checking this out, then when you play BD/SP you can see the sheer number of differences of things, since Drayano changed A TON about Platinum here. If not, I hope the wait for BD/SP isn't too painful, we're less than 4 months away!
