Does the military chaplain have the right to remain faithful to their own beliefs. Do you have to cater to other’s beliefs or offer lip service?

Yes, we represent out individual faith group beliefs and are only required to perform religious functions to the extent of our endorsement of our faith group. For myself it is the Christian Churches and churches of Christ.

Thanks for clarifying! Imagine it can be tough and would require a good deal of discernment and shrewd innocence to avoid compromise. I've thought about chaplaincy and have my bachelors in theology already but still need MDiv or equivalent. I hear it's one of the few fields that you can join without being so young as well.
