I'm curious what you mean by that. I think that the picture under normal, not completely deranged circumstances most people would be able to recognize the glaring hypocrisy that this picture represents. When dude is promoting an america first agenda, trying to ban Muslims, and denouncing the globalists during his campaign, now that he was elected he's in Saudi Arabia, with the leaders of 2 mostly islamic countries leaders, standing around a glowing earth backlit like a fucking comic book. But I think we've all seen how these are not normal circumstances. So even if this picture should have power, it really doesn't matter to the people who care about this stuff the most. I think the modern world and all the countries on earth are dependent on the others to make our modern society even possible. Obviously the way the global north has fucked the global south at every possibility is a huge problem, and globalism and how it's developed is responsible for that, but that's not what trump was talking about when he was making all these campaign promises. And trump is probably a casual racist but he didn't try to ban muslims because he was worried about terrorist attacks, he banned them because he knew that's what the morons who voted for him would want him to do. Then elected he's there in that picture saying about how muslims are mostly cool, expect for the real nutjobs, am I right, king of Saudi Arabia and guy known for extreme human rights violations and whose government helped fund 9/11 Abrabia Salman bin Al Saud? right buddy??? lol I just finished typing that as David Cross was talking about the cognitive dissonance and I couldn't agree more, these fucking people have let their opinions become such an integral part of their personalities that I literally cannot imagine what has to happen for these people to do a little self reflection. This picture should have been one of the most powerful images available to the public but these people don't give a fuck. Even if the reason they should be upset is not based on a critical understanding of how the world works in the first place.

@@KarlMarcus8468 I can't even fully-accurately speak for myself from 4 months ago. So, apologies there. But to the extent that it wasn't a joke, it's.. powerfully absurd. For any number of reasons. If I may be a bigger dork, The idea of Trump smiling here, reminds me of the feeling of watching through Andor. I was genuinely moved by the presented narrative of rebellion. And every time it slips in that it was brought to you by Disney, it feels like a cruel joke. As if they (Disney) are so secure in their holding, that they can comfortably offer you a good story about taking on an unimaginably massive institution, with hope to defeat or change it. And they are that secure. That's how it is. So, it has to become funny somehow. I'm not quite sure who the "these people" are, but hopefully that satisfies your question in some way.
