I suppose a narcissistic Prince is taught early on by his nannies that he can have whatever he wants. Charles put that training to good use leaving pain and tragedy in his wake. As a King in training he should have developed strength of character at some point. The relationship with Camilla should have ended once Camilla was married. Neither showed any respect for their vows made to others before God. As have many others I've lost all respect for the Royal Family. At least we know Ms. Ingrid Steward sold out for the money. Truth! Thank you for saying what many of us think and feel, even if it's somewhat unpopular these days. I scoff at the narration of this video, where it is said he (Charles) "suppressed his love". This is utter rubbish to me; I don't think he stopped loving Camilla nor suppressed it. The whole world knew he was never in love with Diana. I recall the infamous interview Charles and Diana gave after their engagement. The interviewer said they were were obviously in love and Diana replied "Of course!" to which Charles says "whatever in love means".... Diana looked utterly mortified and who could blame her? To me, this is the proof he never loved Diana, especially at a time where two people should be exceptionally in love. I've never been a fan of either of them for obvious reasons. Having said that, the Queen who I always loved, held firm to archaic rules & beliefs in Regards to who Charles could marry. Hence the sacrificial virgin & heir & a spare had to happen. Had she let him marry who he was in love with & his own age so much sadness could have been avoided for both families involved. People marry & get divorced every day, these two were no different except for the fact Royalty was involved. I don't feel sorry for them one bit for the past but as a person pushing 70 & in a 5 year marriage that's been the best thing that ever happened to either of us BUT we hurt no one getting here. They did! I do hope they are happy & enjoy their last years of life together & had I not experienced that for myself, I would not be able to wish them the happiness but only what I used to feel they deserved. They are old & love them or hate them they are together like they should have been from the start of their relationship. It would have saved a lot of grief & maybe we would not be so disgusted by what they did in those middle years.

It’s a romantic story, but the people in this documentary conveniently leave out the hurt it caused Diana and her children is shameful. I wish these documentaries would stop idolizing this relationship. It came at the expense of Diana and Camilla’s family.

I feel like there are soooooooooo many videos on the dark and shameful aspects of the affair. You'd have to have been living under a rock in the middle of the ocean to not have seen them and not be aware of all the darkness and the pain. In contrast, there aren't a lot that showcase their relationship in a romantic and sentimental way. I'm glad that two people who've loved each other for so long are finally growing old together. I'd wager that that's what most people want in life. I feel so sorry for Diana and Andrew, and their pain shouldn't be diminished, though I just think Charles and Camilla should have been allowed to get married from the get-go. I think the entire debacle just goes to show how awful and ridiculous the monarchy's archaic tradition of arranged and forceful marriages is.

We can't change history. Nor would we want to. We wouldn't have our beautiful children if we didn't fall in love with unsuitable partners. Thats the good that comes from divorce. Beautiful...often hurt,children. If we are honest, most bad marriages were warned beforehand. Diana was still a child when she got engaged to Charlie. Where was Dianas family to stop the marriage??? He was way too old for her. The adults...yes including the queen and Duke should not have allowed the marriage. But they did. Everyone did. So blame should not be on Charlie. He loved Camilla. Everyone, including Diana and her family knew that before the wedding. Now we watch Henry in a ill matched marriage....who is going to be blamed. Neither party young. But its going to end a lot uglier than his parents. The people who loved him tried to warn him to slow down...he iced them out and has spent the past 5yrs spitting on his blood . People need to realize that yes Diana was too young...but NOBODY forced her to marry Charles. She knew his love for Camilla... What happened to Diana,the eternal Princess of Wales, was an absolute tragedy. An avoidable one. She may still be here if a seat belt was worn. Camilla is definitely a great queen consort. She is warm and dedicated to the footprints she is following with the greatest respect. She is not trying to be the Queen. She is simply doing justice to the legacy of the late Queen and supporting her husband ,his siblings, and his children. I was raised to hate Camilla....and I have experienced the pain of betrayal that Diana did. But I know what I see,and that is a true love match and a wonderful addition to the monarchy. I just hope someone saves Henry and cancer goes away so the king can do his mother and father proud and the family be united properly. I love the fact that Charles and Camilla eventually found their way back to one another and found happiness and companionship. I'm saddened about Diana, but sadly she was 'a duty to the crown" and duty does not always work over 'old fashioned love'. Had Diana not died in the car accident, I have not doubt she would have found happiness with someone else (not necessarily Dodi, but definitely someone, once she had grown and matured). I am appalled by some of the negative comments from others: a) are they disgusted that some people are happy? b) Do they call Charles an adulterer an not Dianna - Double standards (?), and my favourite - c) He/she who is without sin, cast the first stone. It's easy to judge others from a distance, it's far more difficult to be compassionate, understanding and non-judgemental, - to find our own happiness in the happiness of others! Good luck to the bitter, twisted judgemental "holier than thou, perfect humans out there who judge Charles and Camilla, I wish for you all the happiness you purport to others. They may be happy, but they committed a great injustice to get where they are now. I'm all for grace and forgiveness, but their love story should always be told alongside the dark truth of their adultery, without making it sound like it's all ok. Maybe there’s some historical wrong thats been righted. Camilla is a distant cousin of Charles. The ancestor was an illegitimate child of a king. Then, later another one of her ancestors was a concubine of king. Seems she is where she should be.
