Now I know why the Palace have ultimately accepted Camilla. The woman is obedient. She does everything the Palace tell her to do. She is like a puppet. She does everything they required of her and follow all rules whether it is right or wrong. She do not question them. Diana on the other hand is independent and she stand for what she think is right. It is unfortunate what happened with Diana, she was beautiful woman in looks and character however in Charles and Camilla’s defense, a lot of what happened had everything to do with “the firm” and public opinion. He wanted to marry Camilla before Diana was even a thought. The truth is Charles always loved Camilla. Him loving her doesn’t make Diana any less wonderful than who she was, he just wasn’t in love with her. Unfortunately the pressure from the outside public opinion is really to blame for the disaster. Diana and her family, particularly the Spencers, were very ambitious and misrepresented who she was to the RF, particularly regarding her emotional health & stability. The Spencer’s actually had a bit of a reputation for unstable men (Diana’s mom cited abuse in the divorce), but the RF didn’t think the mental issues affect the Spencer women. Diana actually refused to cooperate with mental health professionals provided by the RF when they realized how unstable she was, and wouldn’t accept mental health help for years (yes, the RF tried to get her professional help) until a friend threatened to out her bulimia to the press because she was afraid it would kill her. And that is just how she treated Charles. As a grown woman she held hostility towards her mother for leaving her abusive father (her mother took Diana & her brother with her but lost custody), pushed her 60 year old stepmother down the stairs (long after Diana married btw), threw her stepmother’s things out the window in trash bags after her father died, fired one staff for claiming expenses with the palace for some trips with Diana (completely legitimate expenses), and fired another who was the currier delivering tapes to Andrew Morten for her for accepting reimbursement from the publishing company. The reason he married Diana was for her lineage, her looks and her virgin womb, end of story. After giving birth to Harry, Charles was heard to say with a sigh of relief, "My job is done.". That doesn't sound like something a committed husband would ever say. Let's take a look at the car crash in Paris. Diana knew Charles wanted her dead. She even wrote to a friend that she feared for her life. The only survivor of the crash conveniently had a serious head wound, of the magnitude that amnesia of the event was eminently plausible. The driver was drunk and driving a poorly maintained car, and was speeding at 100 mph. The safe Mercedes was packed away somewhere for "repairs". Everything put together makes for a very thick plot. Why did it take so long for the emergency services to transport Diana to hospital? How long was it? 45minutes? an hour? Even so, she would most probably have died, but I'll state here again: the only way Charles could obey the Anglican Church and marry Camilla was if Diana was dead. It's all far too convenient for everything to have worked out so well for King Charles. Diana's sons however... Harry is a bona fide mess and needs a mother to give him everything that he missed after losing Diana. William became an adult the day his mother died and took 7 years to ask HRH Catherine to marry him. I don't wonder. It’s not hard to believe at all. Diana had nothing in common with Charles. There was also a huge age gap. Charles and Camilla are contemporaries in age and have many common interests. She listens to him, understands him and make him laugh. She is his soulmate. Of course he would choose her over Diana.
