Hi Charles. I have a question regarding countering orthodox cross. You have assumed that oponent would do a right cross but what when it would be a right hook and I did side step over to the left?
@Charlessalbox
@Charlessalbox 4 ай бұрын
That is why bringing the left hand back to your face is important.

The left hook on the right foot pivot does it generate the same amount of power as it would pivoting on the left coach?
@Charlessalbox
@Charlessalbox 2 жыл бұрын
No, because you should be trying to surprise your opponent with your lead hand shots as opposed to generate the most amount of power. The right hand is where the power should be optimised.

mma no (you need partner for even the basic moves), box yes if you got 10 years free and see only the best trainers like charlessalbox. but is it worth it? probably worth the money to pay a personalized coach that can get you to the next level much faster. i tell you from experience, one word of a good teacher can prevent 10 years of bad habits. if you learn by yourself by listening to random people you will absorb info but not in the right order, and a lot will not be useful cause you don't have the basics to build up on to get there. so covering holes in your game becomes a lot harder cause you are not aware really of what the holes in your game are, cause you are bad fighter who can't see the holes. (dunning kruger effect) so we're talking a very very gradual learning curve. you will never be truly good if you don't seek the holes in your training and research the best trainers and learn about the classic boxers of black and white movies. so any way you slice it it takes time. but much less time with a coach for sure

I like the channel but you should trim the fat on your videos💯Too many needless words. Use necessary words when teaching. When you get too "wordy" it can put students to sleep😴💤
