But this line means something like she left with nothing but a grudge and/or determination to never come back. So she left in the most determined, final way. It‘s not something anyone would normally say in English. If you said it outside of this song people would be confused.

The light production was so on point. I would like to think that I personally helped Charlie to all this success when I was first told of him 5 years ago. I literally told everyone I know about him numbering into the triple digits. A friend of a friend saw him live at a festival and came away blown away....my friend was like, "oh, Jim was on him year's ago and turned me onto him...." So happy for this over night sensation that was 10 years in the making. He deserves every dollar and dime as well as all the happiness he gets from making wonderful music.
