That crap against Garrison Kealler wasn't even investigated to prove it's validity. He didn't loose his show over that, in fact he retired, then it came out, then they changed the name of the show, which was going to happen anyway, and stopped selling all of his merchandise. 40 years of great radio virtually ereased and ruined by an unproven claim about something that happend so long ago, and from what I read, didn't even lead to sex. What he did was no different than what happend in episode 2 of starwars when Anikin Skywalker ran his hand down Padme's back, hardly a crime worth being fired over. The 12 page letter is news to me though, but it dosn't sound like any of it was proven either.

This is the shit I'm talking about. This is why the #MeToo movement has become, if it wasn't from the beginning, just an excuse to shame even the slightest ungentlemanliness from a man if it should offend a woman. Charlie Rose didn't intentionally harass anybody. Harassment would'be been being told no, but persisting nevertheless. Assuming it's not done to gather sympathy for the perpetrators, I think an honest, tell-all show that gets to the raw nerve of what these men did, why they did it and what made them think they could get away with it could be useful for their victims and also serve as a warning for future generations of men not to ever attempt the same things. It's not about forgiving them. It's about understanding the mindset of power and how to avoid falling into that.

Stephen, I love you, but... The Tom Brokaw accusations should be an eye-opener to you on this issue, as well as the signed letter from so many prominent women who have worked with him for decades, not to mention Brokaw’s own account which should be taken as credible until and unless strong corroborating evidence of this career-and-reputation-and-soul-destroying-accusation-by-a-female-out-of-the-opportunistic-blue comes to light. Because as we all know-Tawana Brawley, brawl wit’ me, ‘Bro!!-women are incapable of deception in any way related to sexual assault. Right? Right? Isn’t that the first article of the (unwritten-but-sacred) #MeToo #Constitution, that all women are to be believed, damn the naysayers? Well, so long as we are taking our morning #Constitutional together, consider this my #Preamble, as I walk you through a hypocrisy particular to CBS and its newsroom brass: a woman like Lesley Stahl, whose $2.1 million reported annual salary in 2003 was not sufficient to dissuade her from negotiating a movie bid/movie deal for her daughter, then working for Billy Gerber productions in Los Angeles, and torquing a news story deliberately, and accordingly, to cut out of the picture (or at least minimize the true role of) the teacher of a musical savant-without whom the subject of her reporting could not perform musically on camera, having been his first teacher and continuous aide-as she well knew-faced no apparent discipline for her pay-to-play wiles (and yes, her daughter and her daughter’s production company WAS the highest bidder for the erstwhile unmade TV movie, which was the “savant’s story” and no, not merley the “mother’s story” as she so rudely rebuked me, on set), which-I repeat-were well-known to witnesses and backed up by contemporary documentation available to anyone at the time with an Internet connection, while Charlie Rose was put out to pasture. Who, among these two, is the better journalist? I would sooner (a thousand thousand-fold) give Charlie Rose an interview at this point about my #MeToo experience with Lesley Stahl, which was not a sexual experience but a humiliating and career-crippling action with detrimental follow-on effects for scores of children with savant syndrome I have taught since, than EVER give an interview again to “60 Miniscules” and that whole Sea-of-B.S. crowd. Oh, by the way, you work for them, too... so I will never appear on your show, would that you’d ever want me to appear, because you would be associated with that very bad and immoral act which remains something you (a non-reporter) can’t even mention, let alone joke about, Lesley Stahl being a Sacred Cow and all-women-being-more-credible-than-men-or-at-least-not-subject-to-the-same-disciplinary-standard-that-would-get-them-fired-or-early-retired-fee-fie-faux-news-from-any-other-news-network-worth-its-moral-pass-the-salt-please, and all that CBS BS BS BS....
