I've removed and reassembled the front of my 959 a few times for track days and was like...that's not right a few times. But you guys figured it out and fixed your mistakes. Don't you have the service manual? It shows exactly how to run the harness.

I hope this was thought of already and was just forgotten to be spoken of but this bike needs white headlight bulbs to match the white LED strip on the headlight assembly. It’d be a real shame to see those stoke yellow bulbs on what’s definitely going to be a gorgeous machine.

DUDE! Keep that alcohol away from any acrylic and polycarbonate surface (the expensive headlight)!!! ESPECIALLY acrylic (aftermarket windshields). Polycarbonate is more resilient to alcohol, but still weakens. Acrylic almost instantly cracks! Acetone (brake cleaner) will almost instantly crack both.
