That NS Dunkirk run that is parallel to the main line; at night & in snow showers, was an epic catch! Always love these shots as you can hear the turbo's kick in pressure as the consist hits a gradient on that line. However, watching this at night and in the snow adds a whole new dimension to the shot. Merry Christmas, WWOT!

That first NS train in the snow was the best. Great videos all. I'm going to have to get my camcorder and go to Mechanicsville and show you the old D&H and B&M train yard. It was quite large in the 60's.

I bet u get a small wow when u see KCS, I’m on the Beaumont subdivision and it’s rarely anything else besides KCS, I’ve seen a lot of others down south like UP, BNSF, NS, CSX, Amtrak and stuff, mainly cause UP owned tracks there

Wouldn't mind having the lights the lead unit has, on my van. People who for some reason won't dim their lights would soon learn to! I wonder when the KCS and CP finalize their merger, will the engine of each corporation keep their colours? I'm hoping so, but the other company's road name may show up on each other's units in smaller sized print.

if NS wants to add grey to their paint scheme i can get use to it REAL FAST!! frankly their current white on black is old dated hard to see at night and frankly boring as hell and unappealing anymore!! i like that paint job!! seems holidays don't matter to the cheapskate express anymore they had one go through here a little afternoon that had to be 5 miles long! it took over 5 maybe 10 minutes to clear the yard! one of six drags i heard go through today!!
