I have a friend in his 30s like this. What's crazy to me is not that he's wasting his time chasing women, I mean he is, but it's how emotionally invested he gets in women he isn't even in a relationship with. He has all these coworker flings with married women and is constantly talking and trying to date married women and he gets all in his feels and emotions over it. I can't tell if his brain is broke or what is going on with him. He also does that thing where he has to be all up in every female's attention at all times, has to respond to everything they say, react to everything they do and is trying to be the main character in this social circle that doesn't even exist. It reminds me of my fat friend I had growing up who never got women, but when he actually was around them he would act so stupid and clingy.
