ooh that’s so cool, ever since the first time I heard called you again I always had this little scene in my head like in a musical movie where it goes from plot to song and the main character ends up on a stage when the music really picks up and now that makes so much sense 🤯

she’s the kind of artist who is about to have 100 albums before she stops. she had this album written all before she even put her first one out & had 140-50 songs ready for album 3 when fsf dropped. & i’m ALONGG FOR THE RIDEEE
@psycho_logical8652 Жыл бұрын
I love that so much, she's similar to Taylor in that regard, they're singers but first and foremost, songwriters. I look forward to her future projects because I know they're gonna slap every time.

The last two lyrics explain the entire album so perfectly. “when you’re racing headfirst towards something that’ll kill you in five seconds flat. when I'm racing headfirst towards everything that I want back,” meaning you always want and seek and run towards love even if it can kill you so quickly (through breakups and issues) and how you always race back to it and want it back.
@jacksonperron913 Жыл бұрын
as somebody who has been following lizzy for about 3-4 years now, i’d just like to highlight that her voice sounds the exact same on live, or even during concerts. She labeled herself as a perfectionist and a it shows through these songs. Lizzy also has been struggling with finding the right producers for her newer albums. She actually has 15+ unreleased songs and has planned ahead 2 albums already. All she needs to do is find producers. Cant wait to see you react to give me a minute and when the world stopped moving ep. Cant thank you enough the reaction. Truly a gifted artist that has so much in front of her❤❤❤
@patrickxtran Жыл бұрын
It really shows! The main reason I love this album is the production on it. It's unlike any other female singer-songwriters I've listened to. You can really hear how clear her voice comes through in all the tracks. It's like she's right next to your ear

Just a quick recommendation; Preacher’s Daughter by Ethel Cain. She has a similar vibe to Lizzy but gets most of her inspiration from Florence and The Machine. It’s an amazing album with a captivating and beautifully cohesive storyline throughout but ⚠️WARNING⚠️: this album gets real creepy and sad really early on. Edit: If you like Lana Del Ray, you’ll love Ethel

funfact about doomsday. it was rumoured to be about an ex who broke up with her on halloween hence the lyrics "you did it on halloween" - it being breaking up. kind of makes sense how she talks about the break up throughout the song as her having been buried or talks about a marching band and being six feet under. it has this creepy vibe sonically too which grasps the whole theme of halloween :) i am so happy you all love it!!!!!
